  • Just been into Tesco in Amersham, they had a whole shelf of 'Youngs' King prawns that were reduced by a 'permanent' half price label so down from £6 for a pack to £3, they had a Tesco yellow sticker on reducing them to 30P, they are not frozen and says they can be frozen, the sell by is today 17/12, but grabbed 10 packs to stick in the freezer and a pack as a treat for the cats, anyway got some other stuff and paid etc etc, thought my bill was a bit high and looked at my receipt and 8 of the packs of prawns had come up at 30p but 2 of them had come up at £3.00 (they all had yellow 30p stickers) so went to CS to explain and she worked it out and said she owed me £10.80 ! my first ever DTD. Was going to go and check for more that scanned at full price but had been marked down but didnt have the nerve !

I am all for DTD if there is a genuine mistake. Some people on here seem to be actively trying to exploit this. Suppose I have just never been a fan of cheap and sneaky people. Dont like Tesco much btw, but dislike sneaky moneygrabbing tightwads more :rotfl:
