Last night I bought rolled belly of stuffed pork yellow SEL £3.99 kg, pack said £5.99 kg. and it weighed a kg.
Tried to tell me its the price on the pack that you pay????
Ended up with a CS guy refunding me £11.12!! Crazy or what?
I paid for some Xmas postage stamps with the refund.

mince pies are 2 for 1.80 scanning at £2 for 2 packs - 40p back. Bedlington store

Just taken out of freezer and these are the details:
Its in one of those plastic type box things that the meat comes in.
Fresh 'British Pork' belly joint with sage & onion stuffing.
Display untill 09/12/08 use by 10/12/08 price per lb £2.72 per kg £5.99.
Pack price £5.86.
Bar code: 0249280005361
The guy was baffled by DTD hence the £11.12 refund.
There was plenty on the shelf when I left and he hadn't removed the yellow SEL, so might be worth looking out for.

I found a roast crackling joint, yellow sel £4.49 per kg and price on pack £5.59. Had to argue my case but got DTD, slightly more actually, still not as good as R&R but nice to know I can still annoy Tesco.

Well done, if they have the policy they should abide by it. Some staff seem to forget they are only employed by Tesco they don't own it. Shall look out for these book shelves next trip, thanks.

Another book one - Angel Kids by Jacky Newcomb, Stickered at £3, SEL and scans at £3.86. The book also comes under the 2 for £7 promotion (didn't realise that until after I'd had my DTD though, and neither did the CSA!)
