Tesco misprices thread 8 - please only post misprices here

Just been to Tesco's to get my fella some shirts whilst they were 20% off. He choose two from the £12 each or get two for £20. One of them had been reduced to £9 (but no signs saying so) so the offer didnt come off. Got £2 back after them trying to figure out the receipt and the 20% off discount. THe shirt I got was a black and white thin striped shirt with a tie and roll up sleeves.

Look out for Tesco Finest 'Saint Joseph' red wine.

There was a promotional label at end of wine aisle which stated they were 1/2 price at £6.49 but it went through the till at full price £13.99.

Went straight to CS and got £13.99 back and free wine, woo hoo!!! :j

Only wished I had picked up more bottles but it was 4pm and they were closing.

Hope someone else manages to find some of these. :beer:

Technika 17" Digital LCD TV/DVD

Bought this yesterday. It should have been 149 but went through the till as a different TV: a 22" at 179. So I got DTD £60 back.

The problem seems to be that I didn't take the actual TV to the till; used the DVD case thingys that they have. The bar code printed on these is the wrong one (in my store anyway).

Made the TV 119 which is pretty good if you want one anyway; may be worth a try scanning a "DVD" box in your store; the barcode on the actual TV box is right afaik.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but be very careful when looking at the SEL's. I was nearly caught out as loads of them had dates for next year like 30.10.09. I thought it was out by 2 weeks instead of valid for another year!

Sorry didnt have time to post last night. Bought 3 bottles of wine for £10.00, didnt happen. I bought 2 bottles of CANTI RED@£4.29 and 1 SYDNEY COVE@£4.99 was assured you can mix bottles on promo. Was charged full price for all, overcharge £3.57 DTD £7.14. Used coupons too £100 off your favourite wine and £2.00 when you spend £8.00. In effect they gave me 14p to take them away.

Some of you may have noticed the deliberate mistake, just checking your all awake.
