McManis cabernet sauvignon Californian wine is priced on the shelf edge label at £5.99 but went through in my Tesco (South Wigston) this evening at £2.99. Make sure the bar code is 028235 001024 and check on the bar code reader in case it is not the same in every store, though.
There is also another McManis Californian cabernet sauvignon on offer at £3.99, completely different barcode, but I have no idea what the difference is as the £3.99 offer was sold out
It is very nice wine, we have tried it before and I look to see if it is on offer every time I wander round Tesco.A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
Hi all.
The Maltesers medium selection boxes are now scanning at £2 each. They were £1 yesterday. Got DTD so they were free.
There are signs all over some stores at the moment for the £1 promo, and they are still in date as the offer has been pulled early (SELs say until 11.11.08). Not sure if the other selection boxes (Cadburys, the Mars one and the white one) which were also £1 yesterday are now scanning high but the red one is a goer!
Some stores have changed their SELS, maybe try looking in smaller stores and petrol stations where you may find the £1 yellow SEL. Or on an end aisle in a larger store.
HTH, get them quick!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

All the selection boxes that were on offer yesterday at 99p are now £2 - new SELs and shelf barkers in my locals. Yesterday's offer was supposed to run until the 11th, so I guess they were undercharging for a change!!!0 -
Today I bought 2 x twin pack of torches £3 BOGOF. They charged £3 each no discount applied, at cs I was told that they are having computer issues today and hardly any discounts are coming off anything.
I was offered the difference, I pointed out the sign and he gave me DTD. Although he did tell me that the store had been told not to advertise or offer DTD by the manager and only give it if the customer noticed the sign.0 -

Popped in our local Tescos Extra and big bags of doritos are £1.00 reduced from £1.55 per bag.
But the two flavours in the same bag are marked up wrongly.
Sign says was £1.55 save 54p or 55p depending on the type ( 1 chicken 1 steak flavour)
The SEL price is £1.55 ????
Something wrong.
They scanned at £1.55 great 1 bag DTD back £1.10 in my pocket .0 -
Saw the Old El Paso deal on here and went to buy it at 2 for £3 as this normally works out a good deal.
Went through till as £2.97 each...whoooopeee my first DTD!!!
I honestly didn't expect that, was just interested in the offer.
At the CS the woman tried to say that I had read it wrong and it was only burrito kit, but I know full well that I was right as I re-read to make sure.
Anyway they gave me DTD without me even asking.......I did my best 'oh DTD, how lovely, I've never heard of that' face!
Can I ask..what is to stop me then going back and buying up the whole lot for.....well nothing!?
