Some mini yankee candles from my local - £1! (Not the fake ones!)0
-
I went to both my local stores in search of a cosmetic treat this lunchtime: was disappointed by the fact that the section of odds and sods of make-up was removed in one store, and boringly bland in the other means that I came away empty-handed.
Interestingly the toy selection had also been decimated in both, so no xylophone - but there were Christmas treats in the form of "unicorn barf" (shoelaces) and "unicorn poo" (mini-marshmallows).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Patisserie de Bain body mist in Haywards Heath branch. They had 3 varieties: sugared violet, Cherry pie and Cranberries & cream.
(Realistic scents - Violet one smells just like Parma Violets, etc)0 -
Trongate, Glasgow tonight, all for £1 each:
Kiss Salon Secrets Luxe Accents (Manicure Brilliance), HiPP Baby Moisturiser Head To Toe, Free From & Ultra-Sensitive 75ml, Baylis & Harding Beauticology Pink Grapefruit & Raspberry 500ml, Lottie London (LL010 Sunset Secrets) Nail Polish 12ml and Technic Slanted Blusher Brush.0 -
From Trongate, Glasgow Poundland earlier.
For the little ones' stockings:
5 Colour Slime Party Pack in Test Tubes £1 and 10 Pack Of Window Walkers £10 -
W7 Twin Pack Of W7 Mattenificent Lips 2 x 3.5g, £1 (twin pack in silver hanging strip pack) in shades Jemima and Madame Fifi
Also bought their own brand After Eights and Turkish Delight thins. Opened the Turkish Delight, the chocolates taste fine but they are overpackaged in a long box to make it look like there are more in the box than there actually are (20). So be warned if you think you are getting spectacular value for money here, they cost 5p each. Cannot yet comment on the mints.

Tried my new W7 Mattenficient Lips in Madame Fifi with this blush secured from Poundland in the summer:VfM4meplse wrote: »No whipped foundation on my store, but I did find some Rimmel cream blushers (pallet and squeezy tube) bagged up in the usual generic fashion. Worth a try for that Meghan look
OMG I look amazing if I say so myself. Duchess-chic achieved for £2 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thank you for all the lovely updates and fab find everyone
For once I've got something to contribute!! I found lots of the Lottie London nail polishes in my branches all this week loads of different colours too. These are great as pressies to others or yourself because they're the sister brand of Ciate Cosmetics and retail for £6-£7. They've all got trendy & social media lingo type names like selfie, hey vacay, pixel potty and hipster to name a few because they're aimed at the teens to twenty somethings but don't be fooled by that these are a really great find.
The polishes are highly pigmented and most have good coverage in a few coats, reviews online are mixed depending on colours but the 3 i've tried so far are great. I'll upload some pictures when i've figured out how on here!!

While I'm here has anybody tried Poundland's own Jaffa Cakes? and if so how are they?
I've been seeing them at the tills this week and i first picked them up thinking they were McVities because the packaging is very similar & same colours as Mcvities but the Poundlan ones are a full 24 cakes instead of the now meanie McVitie's 18!!
Appreciate any reviews on these thanks0
