TIGI whipped foundation (only one shade though it appears, too dark for me). £3.95 from Fragrance Direct, obv discontinued as doesn't appear on TIGI's website

NYX lipgloss tubes - I found a clear one this time, they're fab for a pound IMHO!

Outdoor Girl Blackest Black Mascara it's pretty cheap elsewhere but not this cheap and it's a decent mascara

They had tonnes of other makeup bits, didn't have time to look through it all, but Rimmel lipglosses, Rimmel Cream Blushers. Rimmel eyeshadow quads, eye pencils, nail varnish etc

Quick visit to Argyle Street, Glasgow tonight.

Paw Patrol Annual 2019, £1 (not sure why I didn't notice it before - seems to be in my older picture of the Minecraft Tips & Cheats Annual, d'oh)

Batiste Root Concealer, in a few different colours this time - Light Brown, Blonde and Light Blonde, £1.

If the candles mentioned above are the "Original Candle Co" ones I mentioned here they're pretty good - they were last 50p just over a year ago - alas, not 50p tonight (didn't scan to check, though).

Also got this for £1 at the Car Section (actually quite an innocent reason for purchase - boyf installed fabric blinds and managed to get a Sharpie mark on them that has been driving me mad - not sure this'll do the job, though)
Edit: It worked!! (Did a patch test first) :jpaint-factory-household-graffiti-remover-200ml.jpg
Also got ProDriver Auto Spray Paint in Grey - £1, thinking as it's a primer it will be matte - to cover up a rather scuffed grey (matte) painted shelf I have in the kitchen. (Photo from Instructables)SHeXcE2.jpg?1
    That worked well too!

Yes they are one and the same. You managed to get them a whole 8 months before me, though!

I notice the Batiste root cover is also available in dark, have you tried either? The single Amazon review is positive. I didn't make it to Poundland this weekend - must make the effort this week.

Re dry powder hair products: I've bought Tresemme, Toni&Guy and Nutrafix spray and none of them are great. What really works though is the talcum powder-like Stila - not seen them on sale for 5 years now, so I'm glad I stocked up while I could!

No, haven't tried the Batiste Root Concealer - I have a blonde tint with brown/grey roots these days :o, not sure it would be suitable for me - getting my roots re-done this week.

Might pick up a pack next time I pass, and test it for fun.

Any feedback on the white chocolate Twin Peaks as yet?

Bought some today .Havent had white chocolate for ages , so dont really have anything to compare against ,but nothing to complain about for a cheap chocolate.

The redesign makes it more rolling countryside rather than peaks.

Quick one from Argyle street, Glasgow: Simple Kind To Skin+ Sun-Kissed Moisture Cream 50ml, at the £1 toiletries section and scans at £1.

I'm pretty sure I saw a recent Poundland/HUKD thread saying all £2 Simple products are reduced to £1 anyway, but can't verify this.

Also saw Slime (?) and Nick Jr 2019 Annuals in Trongate store.

I did see the Batiste root cover-up in light shades this week (no good for me!) and was curious enough to open the lid on the pack. It looks just like a powder blusher and brush, but obviously in the prescribed hair colour.

I can imagine it leaving a proper mess on the pillow at night!

Got a twin peaks to try. Walked a mile to the Poundland further down the High Street and finally found some of the Disney Christopher Robin craft items. I bought a 12 pack of mini cards for £1.

Fox's Party Rings are 3 for £1. Other biscuits too - think jammy dodgers were another option.

Also found a lovely Children's book of the Night Before Christmas. Will make a nice stocking filler. Retailing at £6.99 full price on Amazon.

Just to say I am so jealous of the US dollar stores.

    Look here https://www.dollartree.com/home

You can see the much better choice of stuff they seem to get.

Makes our cheap stores look rubbish in comparison.
