Unfortunately, I asked in B&Q, Parkhead today and was told they don't sell it (may be store specific?). Looks like I'll just have to try the rainwater option..but the up side is there's plenty in Glasgow!

My store told me they didn't sell it, but I found it on the car section. It's cheaper in Asda, according to quoia's post. The B&Q one was a 1 litre bottle for about 50p.

Rainwater is free:D Just peg out a plastic sheet.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Just looked back and the pic is in post #4544. Expect the other posts about it are within a page or two either side. I wanted the purple one, but when I finally found it, it said not suitable for dark brown hair. Never mind...I'll try a different brand.
I read reviews that the purple mellor& russell dye does not work well at all... LiveXXL do a purple for dark hair, (Schwarzkopf LIVE Color XXL Luminance L76 Ultra Violet) or if you want true purple/ a vibrant colour you might have to bleach your hair then use a semi permanent dye like Crazy Colour:)

Thank you! Will see if Savers have that shade. Can't be faffed with bleaching my hair, though. Cheap & cheerful change is all I need.

Still haven't managed to get the retro sweets in any local stores (millions, nerds, etc), but off to Birmingham next week, so hopefully find something there. Thinking a retro sweet hamper for a friends birthday...:)

Going back to plants for a mo. In Lancaster Poundland yesterday I got some perennials which looked like they were fresh in and for a change were being kept by the window so they won't get light starved too quickly. I got Nigella and Lobelia but they had others (Delphiniums and others) and they also had veg plants, Tomato, Courgette etc. If you can get them before the store kill them off they're a good buy.
Also got some Agfa 35mm film in 36 exposures, they normally only have 24 exposure nowadays. My daughter is doing photography at uni and they encourage the students to use film but it can work out expensive so this is a bit of a saving for her and is good quality.
