I found in my local yesterday a pack of KOKO baby food pouch spoons. You get 2 spoons in a travel pack which you screw onto a baby food pouch. They're from 6 months plus and great for having in your bag just incase! The cheapest i've seen them is £2, and currently on amazon for £5. Hope this helps :)

    Just seen on Poundland's Twitter:

"You heard it here first - all fruit, rose and flowering shrubs are 2 for £1 in poundland from Saturday"

    and

"Psst... from Saturday our May-dated bulbs are 2 for £1 - see front of packs for "Plant By End Of May"

Hoxton Poundland great rope balls for the foster doggie - he loves these.

Flower seed mix - here's hoping.

Also chomping on a pack of snowballs!

Thank you! Will see if Savers have that shade. Can't be faffed with bleaching my hair, though. Cheap & cheerful change is all I need.

Still haven't managed to get the retro sweets in any local stores (millions, nerds, etc), but off to Birmingham next week, so hopefully find something there. Thinking a retro sweet hamper for a friends birthday...:)

Just a note to all tempted by those poundland dyes - DON'T DO IT! I bought a couple of the pink out of curiousity and instead of pink my hair was a purplely browny orangey sick colour. Thankfully I had bleach and a half bottle of crazy colour left to rectify it, but those poundland dyes are awful and really damaged my hair.

If you want a bold colour the only really way to get bright is the bleach and dye route, there are some that come with the bleach already in but they fade much faster. Better to take the time to do it right first time than have to keep fixing it :)

Revlon nail enamel, including a great coral shade for summer, Sally Hansen nail varnish, and I also picked up some tea tree foaming face wash and minty menthol body wash to try.

Aid Fast Instant Hand Sanitizer. 2 x 60ml bottles for £1.
"99.9% effective against common germs. Convenient cleaning - water or soap not needed."

    In 3 types:-
    • Blue - Original with vitamin E
    • Yellow - Citrus scent with vitamin E
    • Green - Aloe Vera scent with Aloe.
I found them by the Scholl blister packs.
Seems to be selling for about 2.99 in other places.

HERBS - Morrisons pots of herbs are much bigger than the Poundland ones I saw and are on sale for £1.

Bought the yellow lemon one - the smell is terrible! Has anyone tried the other two - aloe vera or original?
  • anyone interested in the venus fly traps, they now have them in Nottingham lister gate, also they are getting more of the nivea lipbalms.

I bought 3 raspberry canes about 6 weeks ago when they first came in the shops. Two out of the three had some new growth on them, and I decided to pot them up in large pots and keep them in a shaded area in the greenhouse until the weather was better. Had a look at them yesterday, and they all look dead. Don't think I'd bother with rasps from them again, as the ones I got from Wilkos are growing well.
