Was hoping to find some Andrew Collinge shampoo, but no luck. There was Fructis conditioner, including the variant for coloured hair, lots of Tresemme minis too.

Various Bristows hair products including hair detangler, which isn't always easy to find for adults.

There were lots of hardback copies of "Turned Out Nice Again: The Story of British Light Entertainment." (Link is to paperback with different cover, RRP of hardback was £22.)

Mr Sheen Express Mist Clean and Dust looked new in, (RRP £1.99), it's an all surface cleaner. It looks as this is a product that hasn't taken off, as no supermarkets stock it.

Some Sally Hansen nail products but not much.
Lots of Spider Man Light up Spinning Tops, which look good fun, a similar Toy Story one costs £4.

A small selection of fruit bushes and rose bushes, inc. Tayberry and lots of mushroom growing kits, been looking for these for ages - they're not very big though.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Oh rilly ! I still haven't found any of the fruit except redcurrants and raspberries in the three stores I visit, but the 99p store in Bristol Broadmead came up trumps with blackcurrants, two colours of gooseberry and tayberries.

I picked up a couple of Moshi Monsters make- your- own- glump "kit" (basically a lump of plasticine with a cardboard face to stick on) which kept the children amused for oooh, literally minutes! :rotfl:They would look good as a party bag type gift though.

@ asset2004: we love the Fruit Flakes here but now that the pack size is 18g they're often cheaper when on offer in the supermarkets. When they were 25g bags I stocked up. They're *very* sweet though, don't imagine that they're in any way healthy! DD adores the 'Fruity' bars, which are probably your cardboard ones :rotfl:

STILL no Floriography in Bristol or Bath, unless someone's buying it all before I get there...
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Didn't find the Venus fly Trap kits in my Poundland but was very tempted by Red Hot Poker plants! I'll have to find out a bit more about them and whether they would grow in the flower beds in our garden.

I was tempted to buy a USB vacuum cleaner for cleaning computer keyboards, has anyone had one of these?

I didn't see the Posh Wash, I was looking for the Dewberry one as i used to love the smell of Dewberry but haven't seen products with that fragrance anywhere in years.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

I make my own diffusers. Very MSE and I get to choose the smell:D But I do use the Poundland barbecue sticks for my reeds, as they are thin. 100 sticks (reeds) for £1
Please can you explain how to make your own diffusers please?

  • For Arsenal/England/general football fans, Bury St Edmunds had Theo Walcott's book - Theo: Growing Up Fast in hardback. It's currently £5.99 on Amazon.

  • No Lyclear in Prestatyn but picked up some Anovia shampoo.

Also bought a really cute little Electronic Book Reading Light :j

Posh Wash 'Sweet Cinnamon' was in stock at Chelmsford branch this morning.

Beware the OPI-lookalike nail varnish (brand name W7) as although the colours are lovely ( I got a nice soft mauve) it dries dull so it looks like you have powdered your nails. Noticed too late that the bottle has a sticker 'Crackle' on it ........

I just flick the keys out, clean it all, then put it back. I found that out when I dropped a bowl of custard on my keyboard.:D
USBs don't seem to be very good at charging mobiles; not very powerful.

I got that one and it didn't smell like Dewberry to me.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I wouldn't recommend them, complete waste of a pound. I bought loads for christmas presents one year because they looked alright, I had one left over so I tried to clean my laptop keyboard with it, it did nothing! There's no suction at all just a bit of noise, lol:o
