Iv not tried it yet and obviously as my daughter doesn't have nits I won't know if it works! Headlice are doing the rounds in her class at the moment and I bought the Lyclear mousse previously from poundland to keep just in case! Its usually £12! When I saw the shampoo I thought it would be great for everyday use- its obviously designed for prevention as they do the full range-shampoo,conditioner,shampoo&conditioner as well as leave in conditioning spray! The thought of wee beasties gives me the heebie jeebies so I'll try anything to prevent it! Get yourself down for some Lyclear-the box says its 100% effective as it doesn't contain pesticides so no chance of the wee blighters becoming immune!
The best way to get rid of nits and their eggs is to wet comb every other day with fine tooth comb and conditioned hair. Nits and their eggs will slide off scalp and hair onto fine tooth comb. Nits have become resistant to a lot of over the counter preps and they also contain some very nasty chemicals. Even more moneysaving also.0 -

Well I'll definitely be getting myself down there for some Lyclear. Towards the end of last year I had nits as well as my husband and two children and my mum caught them too! I spent over £70 on Hedrin mousse and they were a !!!!!! to get rid of :eek:Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0

The one I got was July but the dates in boots were the same date so made it seem an even better deal :-)0

Was in Poundland in Nuneaton today - they had the Fireman Sam bath sets as described in earlier posts, they also had a Lord Sugar paperback and Mr Potato Head chunky insert puzzles (3 different types).0

Was in the Reading Poundland today and they have the pregnancy tests I recommended in an earlier post, in there too. They either had packs of one (which are the ones I used and think are great) or packs of 2 which are not sticks but just strips (haven't tried those). The stick ones are a great deal, tempted to get some more, last thing I need!0

Good tip about the whiteboards.
That's right, laundry liquid!
Today's haul:
Velcro hair rollers, set of 12
Kodak batteries, 11 in pack (used these before, thy're good)
Twin-blade razors, pack of 10 (they're men's, forget buying women's razors, there are only 3 in the pack!)
Right Guard Total Defence 150ml aerosol
Thornton Original toffee, 180g
Purple satin covered hardbacked notebook
Hazlenut Brunch Bars, 6 pack
I didn't see the nail stampers in mine, but they had sets of nail crystals, pastel coloured sequin-type nail gems and cane-type decs, in a round dispenser with 12 sections to it.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -

No!.......
Rope ball for foster dog in Hoxton.
He loves it.Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.
