MAYBELLINE NEW YORK INTENSIVE REPAIR & CARE HAND CREAM

    Just catching up.

Thanks for the this. I bought some and it's nearly as good as the Norwegian Formula I use when my hands are dry. Much cheaper too!

If you have a real fire you may sometimes buy the crackle logs from supermarkets or garages- these are the single logs in paper, you light the paper to get the fire going, they last a couple of hours- but as they are instant you chuck your logs/coal on top. They usually cost between £2.50 and £4.00

My local poundland has the same (slightly smaller) on their shelves and they are just as good- I just bought 10 instaed of 3 or 4 for the same price.

I must have missed the original post as it is refered to above, today I got a nail stamping kit. I saw exactly the same thing in the ideal home show last week and it was lots more money! However, I haven't had any success trying to use it, it looked a lot easier than that when it was being demonstrated!!

I got DD a kit for Christmas after seeing it demonstrated in a local dept. store - probably the same company that was at Ideal Home. We took ages to get the hang of it. My tips are firstly to roughen the stamper a bit with a nail file, secondly, work quickly and don't skimp on the amount of varnish you are using. Oh, and you have to roll the stamper from one side of the nail to the other for it to transfer and not just press straight down!

I got some last week for my open fire, don't see why you can't use them in a chiminea. I always try and get the instant lighting bags of charcoal in the sales for my chiminea!

A friend just phoned me and said she saw some more Nail Stamping Kits being put out: P21; P31;P48 and I can't read my own writing for the 4th one but she said it was the plate for french nails.

She also saw the Andrew Collinge that someone mentioned, but saw the Colour Therapy Shampoo and the Volumising Conditioner.

Yes I bought one last year and used it, much cheaper than tesco & wilkinson .hope to get a few more this year as they are much quicker to use and easier, you can then top up with wood when it's going

Same here left my nails so dry and brittle, ironically it smelt of nothing but acetone which my family definitely remarked on as it stunk out the room really bad. It took off the polish very quickly and easily though to be fair.

Yes happened to me. I don't wear polish very often but having used this once won't be rushing back to use it again, hate the smell and what it does to my nails :(

Another thing I've found is that it can take time for stock to filter out to stores. I've just got some of the floriography hand cream, despite other posters mentioning it here a few weeks ago. Have been keping an eye out for it.
I think it helps if you are able to pop into stores a couple of times a week to check what they have on the shelves. :D
