I bought the William's Professional Yo-yo, it's metal and has ball bearings, I think they normally go for £5, but they all seem to be scratched so it seems to be an example of Poundland having something cheap that is genuinely of good quality. I took the blue balancer things out of mine though.

Why are the iPod speakers a top buy? They're obviously going to be crap.

    I made this. http://youtu.be/7L7ro4FoLV0

In the Reading store yesterday they had lots of 2012 Annuals for the kids, I got Smurfs, Guess with Jess, Ben and Holly's little kingdom and Bob the Builder... there were a couple of other editions for the older children - I find these are great to bring out for an afternoon's entertainment when its wet etc
  • Hi guys, we have 2kg bags of Finish Dishwasher salt in the Canterbury store, 6 packs of Nutrigrain bars (chocolate flavour omnomnom), Snoopy DVDs and Food Lovers recipe books including, One Pot, Slowcooker, Chicken, Chinese and Curry.Hope this is useful to someone xx

thanks for the update i also like the supernoodles that are 3 for £1 at the moment. the cereal that is 5 for £1 is quite good but where are the other flavours?
I'm liking the clothes that poundland have started doing neon hats and stripy over knee socks. plus glowsticks to go with them of course.

  • hi,

sorry if posted but my local poundland has "ub funkeys" double packs for £1. these are a kids pc game, they are the add ons to the main starter kit (sadly not being sold in £1 shops). these usually sell for £4-6 each not double packs.

i'm sure it's already been mentioned ages ago but worth a bump .... bought another 2 bottles of "rescue oil" (40ml). seems to be along same lines as Bio Oil that retails for a few quid more in B00ts.

ETA: just seen 100ml bottles in B&M for 99p........grrrrrrrrrr
