I got some good finds in the Stratford poundland today.

They had new and sealed 'Muppets Magic' DVD which is £9.99 on Amazon. Great for the kids as they saw the new movie at the weekend and really enjoyed it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Muppets-Magic-DVD/dp/B000HOJERO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330018774&sr=8-1

Also if you have a little one that likes the Hungry Caterpillar, they had packs of 8 tissues and also tissue boxes. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/x8-hungry-caterpillar-packs-10-pocket-tissues-3-ply-/330689748408?pt=UK_HealthBeauty_Other_RL&hash=item4cfea51db8

They also had the Doodles books that was mentioned before and one for boys too.

I also got a Healthy Eating for Kids book which is £8.83 on Amazon, which comes with a 5-a-day wallchart with stickers... well it's worth a try!

And packs of 10 bubble blowers in a little red test tube with a heart on top. All great stuff for weddings! (Which was my buying purpose) Really chuffed with my haul!

Also planning a wedding and managed to get all of these, bar the cupcake stands, as there were only a few sweet ones left. The bubble tubes are fab! Great party bag fillers, too, at only 10p each. Might go back and get some more on Monday!

  • Went in today to look for the Muppets dvd but came out with four books suitable for young children. Always on the lookout for books which have a price printed on the back and these were all £5.99. I really don't know who pays this sort of price but at a pound they are really lovely. Checked the prices on Amazon and they were all £3 or £4 each. The titles are Little Rabbit Couldn't Sleep, Hodge the Hedgehog, Amansi and Mr. Snake and other stories (more grown up and lots of reading) and Scary Edwin Page. All these books also had good reviews on Amazon.
Sometimes when I think I have a bargain and check later on the internet they are books which have gone out of print but these are all still selling.
