  • Can we post non-finds here? I noticed that they sell 1.25kg bags of sugar, but that works out to 80p per kg, which is more expensive than the main supermarkets I use.

That's a good idea, and in the spirit of money saving. I've been caught out quite a few times in here with items I thought were cheap and yet were cheaper in the supermarket. Usually I find it's the cold and flu tablets, I bought some last week, 8 in a box yet in another shop (like boots but not) for 20p more had packet of 16!

which supermarkets do u use? 99p seems to be the norm these days. lidl's 92p as well. I bake alot so tend to use up sugar really quickly and would appreciate a cheaper option

    99p store's a 1kg pack for 82p. poundland stocks a 1.25kg bag. so it works out similar.
