I can highly recommend that you AVOID the ice scrapers - they are utter cr a p. I used mine this week for the first time although I had bought it a few weeks ago and it was about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Luckily I had one from Tesco which also cost £1 which was brilliant. It this one http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=270995111
There is enough flex in the blade to mould to the windows and I had no fear of scratching. It cleared the ice in no time.

    Hope that helps someone.

Don't even talk to me about bloomin £land car de icy products today!!! filled my empty washer bottle with £land screen wash and bought a tin of de-icer got in the car after work and half way home i needed to clear the window. water sprayed on the window froze on impact creating a white windscreen! pulled over straight away after a near miss to spray de-icer which also froze onto the ice that i already had (yes the wipers were going). spent 2 mins on a busy road scraping my window :S be careful works up to -18oc my foot! x

I picked up Colgate sensitive pro-relief in the Glasgow sauchiehall street store yesterday. Bargain as it's usually priced between £2.50-£3.50 elsewhere!

bought some today but can't figure out how to get the toothpaste out (mine has a completely sealed with plastic top - no pull-off tinfoil thingy).

Have you figured out how to use yours???

Took me a while to figure it out, but if I remember correctly, you take the lid off turn it round, put it on top of the tube & then the seal twists off. I didn't get on too well with the toothpaste , teeth started hurting so had to go back to sensodyne.
ETA-That description is terrible sorry, I'll try again. On the top of the lid there is an indentation, place this indentation over the seal on the top of the tube & twist the seal off.
also forgot to mention got some nice Sally Hansen HD nail polish, google it to get an idea of the colours I got a purple & a turquoise one.
    Booo!!!

Can't remember the name of the film... it was a pink cover with a woman on front.
UK period drama around about year 1700

Did you see it? Did you buy it?

    What was it called?

No it wasn't that, thanks for trying though.

Saw this in Pounland today, it's a new addition to their stock - and I already looked on their website
