Nipped into the one in Argyle Street today and there was loads of stuff it was fab!
Lots of new books from self-help, to James Patterson to new celeb auto-biographies.:p
They also have Run DMC Dvd's in which look great, Jerry Springer the Opera and a Russell Brand DVD too:cool:
As well as loads of stuff for hair including volumising hairdo builders, red, blonde, purple, pink and black clip in hiar extensions and cute lil chopsticks for your hair:T

I will look in my local one and let you know/buy them if they have them. how many did you want if they do?
Aww thank you, that's very kind. Just 2 or 3 would be fab.
Sorry for not replying sooner, I've only just popped back into the thread.tbh, for the money i dont think the poundland ones are worth it either, at £1 each
much cheaper to buy your standard, old fashioned lolly kit, which makes 6-8 lollies at a time, and can be bought in most supermarkets for about £3 (just seen one incl P&P on ebay for £1.49)

I don't have any space in my freezer for the traditional stand up type, don't like the sticks and drips. Also hate cleaning plastics - especially if making smoothies etc into lollies - so sticky!and I'm the only person who would be eating them so being able to just keep one or 2 in the freezer would be really convenient and worth the few extra pence for me.

Just got another QI annual, the G one this time. Packs of white and coloured A4 card are very good (it's not thick stuff but still good value)A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

Was in Argyle Street again today and they had some great stuff in:
Loads of Ben 10 and Simpsons toys.:p
Dinsey Princess scarves in light pink and bright pink (grabbed a few of these for my niece's xmas next year):D
Disney Princess and Ben 10 tumblers
Winnie the Pooh plate and bowls
Loads and loads of books including The Naughty Bits for Girls (there was a lot of chic-lit in)
Nearly all of the hair extensions are gone but there are still some blonde and red ones left
And lots of kids swimming gear stuff :T:rotfl:Survey Queen/Poundland Fanatic:rotfl:0 -
I wondered if anyone has seen any tub trugs in HB recently? I saw some a while ago in our local one and just wondered if they are still doing them. I'm thinking of using them to plant chilli peppers in in my greenhouse.0

I thought those looked fab, and saw themfor sale in John Lewis, but I checked out reviews online and they are supposed to be a pain to clean (especially if you are using smoothies etc to make lollies) and some people have found that they have cracked when their kids have accidentally dropped them.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0
