Is poundworld and poundland the same company?

    No, they are different companies:-

  • Got another Maybelline Salon Expert Nail Varnish yesterday, a sort of pearly cream colour - perfect for french manicure. Last time I got a clear base and top coat. They're wonderful - the brushes are brilliant compared to cheapy Boots nail varnishes!

They had loads of Rimmel makeup - a lot of new loose powder eye shadow that I hadn't seen in there before - Colour Loose I think it was called. Normal colours as well! And some 3 colour eye shadow compacts, but the colours were a bit bizarre. Bright green and shocking purples. A couple of Rimmel mono blushers like one I had previously bought - all in Rose colour though - but I spotted those in Boots for 3.40 something the other day, so I was very pleased with myself!

Also stocked up on a massive pack of AA batteries for the wii controllers. They might not last as long as usual, but for £1 you can't go wrong! I think there were about 10 or 12 in a pack.

They sell an excellent little mobile phone case that nicely fits the Orange San Francisco, in case you're one of the thousands who've bought one of those recently. :)

The last part of that question above WAS a joke.... right??? Or maybe I haven't been on this thread long enough!

It could happen to anyone. I'm mildly surprised it hasn't happened to me yet.

:D:D .... you're not Mark Williams in disguise are you?

Do you remember he was the "I'll get my coat" guy on The Fast Show? :D
