I bought some and it had the cup on and it was so vile after one sip I chucked the rest down the sink and had a chocolate to take the taste away.

I had to laugh as you echo my thoughts exactly. It was the worst tasting cough medicine I have ever had and I couldn't even finish the little cupful!:(

    Yours

    Calley

I bought some as have been suffering from really bad flu and cough. Having spent £4.60 on some Beechams flu plus from my Sainsburys local thought this was a good deal. Also picked up some Covornia, Beechams flu plus caplets and Lemsip night and day caplets.

The lemsip medicine is pretty rough but I just washed it down with a glass of ice cold water - taste gone! The thing is you think Lemsip - ah lemon - that should be OK. I totally forgot how vile Lemsip as a brand actually is!

Whenever I have a cold the OH always tries to make me have a Lemsip drink and I always say I would rather suffer!!

Bought recently which I think are good prices - L'Oreal Elvive Anti Dandruff shampoo - lasts ages - blue bottle - Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste.
Belle de Jour hardback book, Richard Hammond's Car Confidential hardback book.

Not sure why I buy these books - must have spent all of about £10 over the years on books from them and have only read about 2 myself. Have passed a few on as presents though. Most people are so shallow that even if they aren't even going to read the book they still spy the RRP and think you have forked that out - lol!

sorry that this isn't informing anyone of a bargain, but I need poundland related help and not sure where to ask other than on here!

I'm hosting a Mexico themed evening for my youth group and I'm in desperate need of cheap sombreros/ ponchos/ pinatas etc etc, you know the sort of thing :D has anybody seen anything that might help in poundland? I remember seeing sombreros MONTHS ago but obviously the past is no good to me. lol.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
