I went in today and picked up some Thomas the tank engine play doh. They had either 4 smaller pots in different colours or 2 large ones. I also managed to get some baby bath books.

Poundland and home bargains sell green Fresh Bags, 20 for £1.
They pay for themselves before youve even used a couple. Put your veg in and the veg stays fresh for over a week. Honestly they are truly amazing. Ideal for a single person or a small family who only used a small amount of veg per meal.
My OH got 3 times the sprouts we needed for Christmas, I put them in one of these bags and they were just like new when i took them out for our New Years Day Dinner, I believe there is also meat and bread bags. Who ever invented them deserves a medal.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Wow, they sound great, must look next time I'm in Home Bargains.

Went to Poundland today, don't usually get there as there's not a local one to me.

Got a silicon towel type thingy that you can use to open lids or take tins from the oven. Really good.

There were loads of Weight Watchers bits, also on 3 for 2, and the WW tins of beans etc were on 2 for £1.

    Lots of books and annuals.

I also swear by these bags & have now introduced them to my mum who lives alone. Veg lasts so much longer than normal. I buy ours from Home bargains.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

My local branch in Selbourne Walk Walthamstow, had L'oreal bare minerals blusher 3/4 different shades and Khol liner only dark brown though. The blusher was £8'ish just round the corner in Superdrug.

  • Got National Trust bird seed, I thought it must be OK if it was endorsed by NT. Also very small but healthy climbing rose bush, I`ll plant it when the ground thaws.

Our local poundland (Tottenham Hale) has wii wheels and tennis rackets (that you put the wiimote into). The official wii wheel is currently £6 on amazon (RRP is £25!!) and unofficial ones £3-4.
