Be very careful with these and test the velcro-like ends, which on my ones weren't stuck on too well.mcculloch29 wrote: »I bought a drain snake not in Poundland but in the much smaller rival chain of Poundworld. They were mounted on a card and with the soap powder etc.
(These are a copy of the real thing, BTW, so take the youtube vid with a pinch of salt - it doesn't apply to these bad boys).
Try supergluing them on or stitch a fishing line to the end in case it comes off and you need to retrieve it.
Otherwise it's good for three goes...then it falls off in the drain!!! :sad:0 -

Really have to stop going to poundland...
In Mansfield store they had 3 of the cupcake money boxes left last night and one set of the window snowflakes. seems to be a snatch it when you see it scenario!
Over the moon to find Rimmel blusher! Good quality make up in at the minute- Rimmel, Maybelline etc. Not sure why they have to repackage it but if you're inclined to walk past it as I was because of not wanting to buy cheap make up that wouldn't last, have a look again! It's repackaged in purple/silver/clear bags hung up on the wall. blushers, eye shadows, concelars, nail varnish (inc. manicure pots)...pretty much everything but foundation, which is what I was looking for!

I got Terry's Chocolate Orange segments in Glasgow today (Trongate) - they have the original ones and the popping candy ones (love these!).
I also got Rudy & Cursi on DVD - if you don't mind subtitles this is a really funny film about 2 Mexican brothers living in the sticks and trying to make it as footballers in the city. I saw it at the cinema last year and really enjoyed it, it's my stocking filler to me. :rotfl:0 -
i got a 'sink serpent' today as my bath is blocked, it's not that good and the end is coming off! oh well, only a pound

Finally bagged a copy of Romanian Holiday!
What confused me was that there is a regular DVD section, but there's a special bit round the back for Christmas stuff, including a whole bunch of DVDs.
My OH is a closet Corrie fan, so this is a great stocking filler for £1. Very pleased! Thanks to everyone who posted before - I wouldn't have known to look out for it otherwise.
