  • I just bought Dirty Sanchez Front End in Souththampton - it's £3.99 on Amazon:-

I was looking for the Royle Family New Sofa but no sign of that or the QI annual.

Well I popped in there after all but was quite good and only spent a fiver. :D

I got a cuddly toy penguin so that is the present for the dog sorted, 3 boxes of 150g chocolate liquers (Jim Beam, Cointreau and Courvoisier Cognac) and a Drain Snake!

Our bathroom sink tends to get clogged a lot due to the type of soap we use and having two long haired females in the house. :D

The drain snake pack has two in there, one thin ended one for the sink and a wider one for the shower or bath.

I have just experimented and had a go with the sink one and it works!

Brought up a clump of hair straight away on the first attempt.

    Well worth £1. ;)

Wish me luck for lots of bargains- going to get ready to pop to the land of the pound! (and hopefully find those gel snowflakes ;) ) x

I'm not sure if Poundland stores all place certain items in particular places but if you can't find the gel snowflakes with the Christmas stuff, I just saw some hanging in the diy section by the screwdrivers etc in the one I used this morning (Newcastle Under Lyme store).

Went into the Poundland in Canterbury yesterday and they had copies of Talladega Nights on DVD. Currently £3.60 on Amazon. Good stocking filler for the man in your life.

That's exactly where they were way up here in the Inverness store so u might be right that they place things in the same places in each store.

    Any luck today Amethyst? Xx
