I've been waiting for the Caudalie gift set from Grazia magazine for about 6 weeks now and finally a parcel came through my door today. V disappointed to discover a load of lavender stuff from Crabtree and Evelyn instead because they 'couldn't source any more' - I hate lavender and only got the subscription because I was desperate to try the Caudalie stuff.

Is there anything I can do?

They usually have a clause stating free gift while stocks last and can be subsituted

I contacted the magazine group and they gave me the conde nast (publisher of the Tatler) email:condenast@subscription.co.uk

If you have not had your free Shiseido bronzer you need to contact them with your 10 digit reference and address details.

They emailed me to apologise that I hadn't received the gift and to allow 28 days for a replacement to arrive. It will come seperate to the mags.

Does anyone know any tricks or codes to get a cheaper subscription to this magazine. It's by Future Publishing if that helps.

Personally I would cancel the subscription and complain. It may well say it can be substituted- but how is that a similar substitute!?! I would be annoyed too! They could have atleast given tyou a few choices or something- a phone call to apologise even! Know they must have a legnthy group of people who did not get the set, but personally, I don't think thats fair.

If you do keep the set, -if they don't ask for it back if you cancel the subscription, you culd always try selling it on ebay?

Even the one in the magazine doesn't have a free gift and I can't bring myself to subscribe without freebies! :rolleyes:

That way you don't pay then have to ask for a refund!
