I live in Kent but my friend driving the car lives in Northampton so we need to know times so she knows what time to drive down and collect us.

Fingers crossed for the earliest crossing.

We are coming from South Wales

    Hi Lizz
Thanks for the info. Did you choose your crossing times on the booking form? I put an idea of times I wanted but not sure if they actually pick the times we were hoping for. We are getting a basic model galaxy also.
  • HI ClarkeEJ
yeah i picked 7am and 4pm on my form so they must pick the nearest they can give you.
  • I'm not sure if ours is a basic model i know its a ghia 2.2.

Might give ford a ring ask if they can give me my tunnel times.

lol. My friend is recieving the car so she has all the documents so im sure she will let me know Thurs evening when she gets the car all its mod coms.

I have just rung Ford and my tunnel time is 06.05am (eek lol) and 7.05pm on the way home. They also said if we dont get the packs in time all we need to do is ring to get tunnel and hotel reference numbers.

I'm all excited now, though not excited about getting up at extremely early.

atinkerfairy those are really good crossing times. You'll get to spend longer in the parks. I wish I had requested those times now!
I wonder why some of the cars are different spec? Ours is the top model, fully loaded. I would have thought they would all be the same. Did anyone receive insurance papers for the car yet? I have the car but can't drive it as all I have is the certificate of hire documents.
We are driving from Bristol so have to set off in the middle of the night. Just a warning to those driving with a full car. There is NO boot space in the car with all seats up. We have 2 pushchairs to bring and are now just packing holdalls.
