I don't think it's a crime to keep the kids in nursery when not working if you can afford it. They get so much out of it, and learn so many new skills. Mum stays sane and gets things done!! I can never get anything done with dd around so I never feel guilty once a month when I drop her at nursery in the morning but don't start wotrk till the afternoon (one day every five weeks, the rest I start as soon as I drop her off) as it means I get things done.

I really should look into vouchers as it must take some stress off you knowing that vouchers have paid for half even if you haven't got the cash yet etc.
Here's hoping that ebay buyer collects and pays you soon.

How are you getting on with your list? I've been a lazy moo today, the best I've done was cook dd two meals (she ate one for dinner) so I have one to freeze. Other than that I've visited a friend and done not a lot else, but it's been a nsd so not too bad I spose.

What sort of machine turned up lol?

Not achieved much today apart from kitchen and bathroom but really must hoover!

Had no spend day today as couldent be bothered to go out as rained most of day.

Daughter in nursury wed/thur so will list and make gailey creations then!
The vouchers area type of salary release bthrough work most emplyers do them and all nursurys take them. So hubby gets £160 taken from his paypacket same time as tax which lowers is net income but its tax free so voucher is for £243 so make £80 saving, only benefit we seem to be entitled to so is staying! Im sure you can vary teh amounts to what you need but I think £243 teh limit for each person so your oh could do it also.

The machine slooks cross bteween a chip and pin reader and aclaculater that I think plugs into computer its special think baclays and natwest use them to make online banking more secure just shocked me abit as hubby not got one!
Just need to work out how2use the thing now so I can obsessivly watch my accounts and maybe do better on payment a day challange!

I havent listed on ebay but have listed on mothers board so will take pics of buggy and email.
As for ebay buyer feel confodent tehy will turn up, pay and everything go fine. Hope i not jinxed myself now

Started off day enthusiastic as got all my jobs done yesterday round house had planned to do more today

    declutter the lounge
wash the huge rug in lounge
    Clean the kitchen

I went round spa this morning to just get 1001 carpet cleaner for rug £1.35 and ended up spending £7.18! on 1001, 2 choc bars, 2 cans, paper and ok magazine really must stop frittering away money as only got £6/25quid left!

Must admit finding £25 a week budget a challange, was good yesterady had no spend day but only had 3 this month and pledged 8!

Thnak godpram buyesr paying £220 cash tommorow so got money for next 2 weeks and can pay off nursury.

As special treat today went to cinima to see mama mia as was cheapest cinima around here but bit further to travel.
Been wanting to see it 4 ages, freind keeps putting it off and hubby refuses so I thourght I would be brave and go by myself as a treat to cheer me up as money worries getting me down!

I have decided to sign up for 2 new challanges
    flylady
    and make £10 a day.

My no spend day going ok
sealed pot badly hubby borrowed not replaced
Ebay challange not so good need to try harder!
grocery challange ok but could do better!

Got sent 2 lightspeed surveys today but again annoyingly get half way through questions and it said it had enough particpents will get 10 more entries into draw which always happens but sadly not won anything yet!

Having few problems with the busienss have underestimated amounst of fabric needed, need more and also now stuck on what prices to charge as soem of teh designer fabric cost me quite a bit so will have to hike up prices on these to break even or make a little profit.

I estimate i need another £150 for business, 100 for nappy kit as dont want to put eggs all in one basket!
    and £400 for september income
so need to make another £600 within next month to keep me going!

Im trying to be optimistic and will list a few things a day on ebay!

It's frustrting when you have no money so you want to treat yourself to make yourself feel a bit better. (Been there loads of times).

What are you going to be selling? Sounds interesting. Have you made anything yet?

Good news about the pram being sold tomorrow, will ease stress off you for a bit.

Well done on going to the cinema on your own, I don't think I would.

Have you looked into matched betting? I didn't think I would understand it, but I have and making small bets and learning slowly, but according to a spreadsheet I'm using I am in profit :)

Hi, considered matched betting but looks bit complex was going to try matched bettings and comps instead.

My new business is party bags but also wanted income from being cloth nappy agent too.

Im glad I was brave and went bymyself as really wanted to see it had agood time, its perked me up a bit.

Had bad day spending but not going out much 2morrow as waiting in for courier to pick up one pram £120 yay! Also ebay buyer picking up another pram £220 cash! which will go on nursury fees and give me money for next 2 weeks.

I still have 2 prams left to sell listed oen twice but still not sold very frustrating.

Im sitting in a lot of stuff so if it all sells im pretty sure will make £600 I need but what stresses me is the wait 4 the money, things might not sell, incur lots of fees ect.
When I got 600 in bak accont will feel better, need to start listing 10 a day as carboots not been overwhelming sucess but will keep trying.

Its hard staying motivated but will keep going, just wish I had savings to fall back on as am concerned about oct onwards is busines does not take off as hoped!

Im stresing about money today as need to raise so much.

Letter from bank im 70quid over overdraft, not good and im not sure why prob charges knowing barclays!

The e bay buyer fingers croosed meant to be picking up pram this aftrenoon and paying 220 cash! That will be big help but that will cover living costs and next 2 weeks £25 allowance!

Am going to sell everything i can to make my target, determined to list 10things a day!

Also going to break my target into 50quid chunks so it does not seem like impossible challange

I really must look into tax credits.

Im hoping next carboot be good one!

Got so many clothes to llist.

    Am stressing about the business

    worked about demand
    worried about not making enough
worried because dont have enough fabric

    worried because its hubbys birthday

really must stop panicing and get on with it

Don't panic about thnigs, like you say break it down into manageable chunks and you'll get there. With 2 payments from buggy's it'll ease your cash flow wont it.

Have you already started making ? and selling the party bags yet? If not try to crack on with that as you have bought the stock and machine so you may as well try to get some return on it.

You should def ring tax credits.

I'm sure Hubby doesn;t need pressies etc, have a nice home cooked meal and save presents for when you are more flush or give him IOU vouchers for massage, cooked dinner etc etc. (You can use your own imagination)

Ahh calmed down a bit now

ebay buyer turned up and paid £220cash! so paid £100 nursury plus voucher for 243 which means still owe hubby £160 for voucher!

Using £50 left for hubbys pressies and taking him out to cheap local 4barsnack my mams babysitting, also as surprise inviting a few of his mates he hasent seen in ages so hopefully they will buy him few drinks!

Still waiting for £120payament for another buggy which I need to pay off 2 ebay sellers for cheap toys I brought daugter for xmas as trying not to spend too much this year and spreda the cost, teh rest will get bank account back in acceptabel limit, need to investigate why I gone over!

Listed 2 more buggies on ebay 2 day 3rd relist for 1 and first list for m&p pram so fingers crossed.

Also listed lots and sold a buggy liner on mothers forum £15 so that helps.

Still have lots of clothes to lista nd few more carboots,my ma said tonight shes got another bagful which is good.

As for business taken bit longer than expected, underestimated amount of fabric as only got enough to make 2 packs approx value £22 gross so need to intoduce ore cash and buy more fabrics another reason to raise more money as need another £50 investment in fabrics so can list lots.
Also really want to raise another £100 for nappy kit as nappy be additional income.

Will keep an eye out 4part time 1 day job too as hoping if i live on £400 a month budget and earn more i can then save and pay off debts.

As fot tax credits eligable for £10 a week at most but not working 16hours so cant get working tax and child tax element earnt too much as based on last years figures but will try.

Will try and stay positive and keep seling to give me income to live, invest in business ect.:j

Oh dear negelected my diary for few days as been bit busy.

Its sunday feel sad im not out there at carboot earning money!Hubby says im sad!

I have paid nursury buts till owe hubby 160.

Took hubby and daughter to new leisure centre friday but couldent use kellogs free swim vouchers as can only be used at bristol council pools but did see justin lee colins! Plus daughetr had fab time , the £1 swim jacket brought at carboot otehr month was fab, saved my self £26 quid as they 27-30 new!

yesterday slighly inspired by hypno, hubby whinging and frsutartion of clutter and not finding things I started to declutter and tidy upstairs!

The large playroom was mess as had toys, laundry bins, iron, my desk with sewing machine in it, piles of stuff to sell and surplus prams(to be sold!).

So i moved daughter from box room into playroom and desk and excess into box room.

I think daughter happy as she has largest bedroom, its tody with all her toys in , never realised how much she had but am fed up of toys taking over the lounge and was panicing about future presnts for xmas and birthday in feb where would they all go?Might have to be ruthless and see if some could go!
I feel Like house is shrinking!

Not sure if this is good money saving but spenty a bit on cheap xmas presents off ebay as was worried, dident wnat to leave it until last minute so I thourght I would spread the cost! Will be on hunt for cheap dvds and books at carboot/charity as well.

As for box room needs major sort out today so I can get decent tidy, well organised workspace as production not been going fast as been busy listing anything of value prams, clothes. Got pram ending today but not too confident it will sell has 4watchers which dont mean much.

Also desperatly need to sort out laundry pile as i let clean laundry mount up as we have one dirty bin and 2 clean bins ready for ironing!
Which is the problem as detest ironing and iron as I need it, which traumatises my mam. Sometimes I fold stuff as it comes out of drier!
My daughter has silly amount of clothes and hubby not enough!

Its hubbys birthday next wek so got to get him a pressie and take him on cheap surprise nite out at local pub, he thinks im taking him to restaurant! Hope hes not too disapointed! Im sure when he ses his mates he hasent seen in ages he will be ok. Hes dredaing my mm coming to stay and babysit but on plus side she comes and cleans she cant help herself, i have cleaned bathroom/kitchen before and shes dont it again, shes cleaning obsessed cant finish coffee before shes washed cup up!

Looking foward to carboot this week and really must join 10a day challange!
Still worrying about money and may look for part time job will see how it goes.

Starting to run out of food! So will need mini shop this week but think we may actually achieve august grocery challange if we careful.
