Wine glasses made of very thick glass?
Comments
-
MrsE - I just bought some fab thick glass glasses from Tesco. They're recycled, and have a slight green tinge. They're goblet shape.
They're on offer at the moment - £10.50 for 4
I'm not going to chuck one at the floor to see if it would break, but they are beautifully weighted and feel very solid.0 -
Sorry Mrs E now I'm seeing this and no I did have a look and would have posted a link for you but the site wasn't showing the ones we had. It was a good few months ago.Any chance of a pic or weblink?
Too thick, hmmm sounds what I'm after:DWomen and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Sounds great.
I don't expect them to be so tough as to chuck them on the floor you know:rolleyes:
I will have a look for them tomorrow:D
Is the top bit nice & thick? Its easy to find thick stems its very hard to find them with thick tops too:mad:0 -
They're very thick compared to my other glasses. Good couple of mm thick, I'd say.
If you like them you could buy 16 - would take you years to break 8 of them!

How about these? They'll only set you back about £150 for a set of 6 _pale_ .
They are really lovely to drink from though...I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
