Hiya Sea, I'm just back from a few days away and only just saw your thread. I'm glad you've made the decision and can begin to move forward. You've had a really horrible year - or more. Hope things go smoothly for you.

    Hey all :)

It was DS's birthday yesterday which I can't believe as my little baby is 3 years old!! :) He did very well for presents - we are lucky.

I've been working out my new DMP figures and oh dear - things are going to be sooo tight. I will need to have the child tax credits in my name I think in order for the DMP to be accepted as otherwise, with the figures all cut back, I barely have enough to make the payments.

Need to ring Tax credits tomorrow and CCCS after that once I know what's happening.

    Crap crap crap

Tight is tight......but tight is not impossible.

OK, so things will be difficult - you always knew they would in this situation, and it would be so for any of us. BUT they are still workable so you can still carry on with your plans, and not have to back track just because of the finances.

DFDs may change, budgets have to be re-done, but this is all part of your current "reassessment of life" that you are going through. It is a positive thing.

Put your MSE head right on, brainstorm the budgets, the challenges, the targets etc - remember that you have the potential to make more money from ebay, and other MSE stuff which WILL GET YOU THROUGH.

And all the time you have the absolute knowledge that you are doing the right thing and that you will look back and be glad that you took these steps. And the fact that they are difficult steps, just makes you a stronger person with every step you take.

Thanks hun - rang a friend who told me to pull myself together which I have. I can and will do this - him being around, constantly emotionally blackmailing and guilt tripping me is making it hard and once that is sorted, whatever I need to do I'll do. So you're right Hypno :) Thanks :)

    Hi all

feeling more positive today. He went out to his mum's last night just before kids bedtime (nice timing) saying he'd be back shortly and got home 6.30am this morning. I honestly don't care, but really don't understand why he thinks he wants the kids 50% of the time when he barely sees them? He's not moving out because his solicitor has told him that he won't be able to get any money from the house if he does, and he's waiting for me to raise the £21k that he owes his work so that he will move out. However, with various things he's doing, I'm getting more and more annoyed and am not going to do anything til I've spoken to my solicitor as I know I actually don't *have* to give him this money, but was trying to make things easier. He is now going out of his way to make things harder so I'm feeling less giving, if that doesn't seem really pathetic, childish and silly.

Ah well, another day. He's in bed still, as usual as is on annual leave from work for 2 weeks for some random reason - he's not doing anything with the time and certainly not with the chlidren. I'm going to go to a friends house this weekend, without the kids and see what happens!!

    Hope all are good :)
