TBH this is one of the least cliquey forums I've been on. I've tried others for other subjects and either not been able to get a foot in the door because of being a newbie, and with another I felt like I'd escaped a cult when I left!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

lol, I went over to the 'dark side' to ask for some advice on why I could not sell flight tickets for a friend - got a load of abuse for not reading ebay rules correctly - won't be going there again xx

I have got to say this board and the OS board are the friendliest board on MSE.

I personally do not PM any poster as I do not want to get involved personally, it is open forum and we offer the advice that the OP can use a debt charity if they so wish.

You are not certainly being left out/there is nothing going on, I am 99.9% convinced that no one who post on here is "slagging" off or discussing a thread on MSN or by PM.

If you try some of the other boards on this forum, you'll soon realise where home is! Its DFW and OS boards.

We are known as the huggy board, and the Housing board slag us off for bring nice and supportive to everyone who ask for help.

    Part of the Furniture
i do find it a bit funny when people say "i've Pm'd you" when the recipient would know they were pm'd, cause they'd have a PM....

(that said, i have done the self same thing at times!)

Maybe we shouldn't broadcast the fact that we are PMing one another, as
    a) it is pointless
    b) If it does make anyone feel left out, then we shouldn't do it.

We've had tons of new posters lately, and lots of new bods coming into the daily chat... which i've taken as a good sign....

    interesting topic though....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

But it doesn't make it glaringly obvious when you have a pm so maybe some of us (or maybe that's just me) wouldn't realise.
When I've pmed someone it's usually because the information is personal (for me or them) and I don't want to put it on the board or just to make sure someone's ok if they seem a bit down. Nothing b i t c hy though.
