Although I seem to be having issues tonight with their site, if bristoluni no longer works, maybe try glamorganuni :)

I used this for tickets for 2 adults , It states a student ID is needed on the ticket. I have a valid part time student ID from an Irish University . My travelling companion does not.

Did anybody get any hassle using this code ?

Sorry for the spam , did you successfully get on the bus with the ticket? almost same situation as yourself.

I can confirm that you do not get asked for any kind of student ID. I have travelled twice now - both alone and with companions - on return tickets purchased using the Glamorgan Uni promo code. It does indeed say something along the lines of: Valid student ID required for travel on the e-ticket, but this is just for show.

I should also add that both my companion and I are in our late thirties and couldn't possibly be mistaken for typical students by any bleary-eyed National Express coach drivers.

I panicked for weeks when I found this thread (after I had purchased my first tickets) so I just joined the forum to post the above.

    .

Making a universal generalisation from two instances doesn't seem that wise and doesn't guarantee everyone will get away with it every time.
