Hmm, not sure whats going on with the banking but I somehow seem to have just over £200 left for the month  While this sounds fab I'm sure I've forgotten to include some major stuff as I reckoned I'd massively overspent recently :o:o I will dig a bit deeper later as I don't feel happy that I have done it right :o

I have just submitted an earnings enquiry on quidco for the casino offer I did a couple of weeks ago, it has tracked twice but both times at zero, I had all the transaction references etc, so in theory they should pay out but quidco doesn't seem as reliable as it once was

He's doing well thanks BB, he's beginning to do more, bit of gardening and walking bit further. He's not allowed to drive for another week or so.

    How's your Dad?

Oh and I checked with OH and all ok for camping on 21st :)

DS was complaining of a sore throat last night when he went ot bed, I gave him some calpol and thought he'd be fine, but this morning he woke up crying saying it hurt :o:o I'm not majorly panicky but he did come home from school with a letter saying someone had swine flu  and if you check on the nhs direct websites symptoms checker it does come out as swine flu, although for now I'm reckoning it is just a sore throat :o He doesn't have a temperature or anything and says he hasn't got a headache or anything. He is supposed to be going to his dads tomorrow and then his birthday party on sunday for a few of his school friends :o

Our plan today was to chill this morning and then go to a friends new house this afternoon and he could play with her two boys, then round to mums for dinner tonight. Hmm, will see how the next hour or two goes ...

From what I've heard from people who have had swine flu, they have a really high temp. A lady at nursery yest was saying her SIL was told if she didn't have a temp then it's just "normal" flu if have the other symptoms.
DD's nursery has a case of it too, but touch wood she's ok at the mo. 2 people at my work have had it, but they're back now.

Really hope DS is ok and he doesn't have it.... keep checking his temp, plenty of fluids and hopefully it's just a cold... hugs xxxx

Yep tbh I'm sure its nothing, its just unusual for him to complain :o At the moment he's laying under a blanket on the sofa watching tv, lots of rest and keep an eye on him :D

I think that if he has no fever, you just work on the basis that it is a sore throat.....remember too, that end of term-itis is prevalent - lots of tired children who have been doing loads of stuff at school and who are a bit run down, therefore simply in need of crashing out on the sofa watching trashy telly!

I hope he feels brighter soon, and that he doesn't get too miserable with it.

OMG!!!! Postie just rang the doorbell and had a recorded delivery parcel for me .... do you remember a few weeks ago I emailed cross country trains about ds birthday to see if they sell any merchandise and they sent me a t-shirt and baseball cap? Well, they've now sent me a boxed set of model trains :j :j It is absolutely perfect for ds, couldn't get him a more perfect present if I tried :D:D I have been looking online for ages and the only stuff I could find was a hornby train for about £150  which would be broken in minutes :o Apparently these are brand new trains they've just released, its a cross country box with four trains / carriages in it, they're proper metal, model scale etc ones, I'm sooo happy I can't begin to explain, :o I could just go and visit the guy who sent it and give him the biggest hug ever :D:D What a lovely thing to do :T :T :T

Postie also brought my tax credits letter and on first glance it looks like my payments are going up by about £80 a month but I've no idea why so will need to rad it again and try to get my head round it all a bit
