    Thanks Hypno/Taxi :)

I finally got my shares transferred into my account yesterday - thought I'd missed the boat when I had a lie-in this morning and they went up to the price I needed to become debt free (and then fell back down again) before I got out of bed....oops! But at lunch time they went up again, so I sold them.

The money will take a couple of days to come through and be paid to the various places it's got to go (leaving us about £30 to spare :rotfl:), but technically I'm now debt free.

I'm pretty sure the shares will go up quite a bit more over the next couple of months, but I couldn't stand the stress of checking them and getting my hopes up all the time, only to be disappointed. So I am prepared to smile with gritted teeth when I see them at £10 a share in October. :o

    Ooh congratulations Snaggles! :T :T :T :T

Managed a NSD today so that makes 8 this month :D I have also bagged up a whole £6 in change which can go into the bank tomorrow.

My £20 on quidco for the breakdown insurance has tracked but they don't pay out for 4 months to make sure you don't back out of the policy!

    Hiya Hypno
Well done on the nsd's. That's really good. I'll be needing a few of those in September. Also had to say well done to snaggles....yeahhhhh! What are you going to do with your extra money now? xx

Hurrah! Sucks on the insurance thing, but I can see why!

Evening! I suspect snaggles will be planning on saving for her extension.....or a few boxes of jaffa cakes :D

HBFS - hurrah indeed! As long as I get the quidco money eventually, I don't suppose it matters much, but I am impatient and want it NOW so I can amend my signature as I pay it off the debt :o If the NSDs keep happening that will be good though, because budgeting is where I fall down.

    I will get there

    Thanks Mooloo and Mudbath

And sorry to Hypno as I seem to have inadvertently spilled my celebrations over into your thread! :rotfl:

Mudbath - well, technically there isn't any extra money as I have been repaying it from 'extras', but it will mean our budget can breath a little sigh of relief for a while, and we can afford the increased mortgage payments for the new extension we are hoping to have built later this year (or probably more likely early next year). And yes, Jaffa cakes aplenty I would imagine! :D
