Hi Miz! Over a year ago I got together with a couple of guys who wanted to make some "guided visualisation" MP3 downloads. I spent ages working on them and even longer in the recording studio. The idea is we each gave our time/studio space etc for free, and just split the takings three ways.

But with other projects and real life, these things took longer than expected to get off the ground, but it seems that the website is now live and sales have started. So we now need to work on how to maximise them and perhaps even record a few more.

I had almost written it off, to be honest, so will be very happy if something comes in - it will be a lovely bonus!

Excellent news about the downloads - I remember it was this time last year when I came across your diary and you were busy writing and recording them so it's good that people are buying them and they'll be some money coming your way.

I was in your part of the country for a few days last week as my parents are holidaying in Norfolk and we went to join them for a bit, I'd just read about your decluttering efforts and kept an eye out for people driving round frantically with a car full of bags ;) Hope you're enjoying the new improved decluttered areas - even if it doesn't sound like you or your OH are in to appreciate it much atm.

That debt total is going down amazingly quickly atm too.

Morning hypno im intrigied what exactly is a fake cappachuino is it the satchets from nestle that are always on offer?

Last xmas hubby was lusting after coffee makers in whittards but we could no afford so instead i got him new caffitiere, nice coffee, a sort of hand whip for coffee from debenhams and whittards do fab range of coffee and choc/ cinnamon sprinkles which are often on offer and went a long way as all cappacuino is is nice coffee, frothy milk and sprinkles!

Shop and scan sounds intresting when i worked at safeway we had shopand scan we called it shop and rob as it only checked every few customers but that was in store.
In bristol somerfeild have agreement with council so elderly have shop and scan at home but not sure how it works. Would you be limited to specific shops? as if u cant shop arund you may lose more than vouchesr are worth but hey its worth a try!

Do you do well with lightspeed? Im finding it slow as surveys sent are either im not suitable after so mant questions or they have enugh participants. But I do have endless amounts of entry into lightspeed draw what ever that is hope i win as my 320lightspeed pints building up slowly was hoping to save money to transfer into paypal for xmas as so many shops take paypal now.

Well done on the download money hopefully more to come as much extra incme the better.

I really need to go ikea but it wont stop raining! Got stuff to list and house to tidy.Think i need to start lists like you to keep me motivated.

    Hiya Hypno
We do the scanning with the National Shopping Monitor and probably get about £100 in vouchers a year. You can change the points for all sorts of vouchers. My scanner has broken a few times this year but they just sent a new one. It's time consuming but well worth it when you get the vouchers!!! Happy scanning xx

Well done on the scanning ...I got offfered that they sent me the stuff and the scanner never worked so gave it up as a bad job ..it also interfered with my phoneline and computer...
Nice to see you'll be getting rewarded for those downloads as well.

yes, gailey - the fake cappucinos are the sachets from nescafe - as you say they are always on offer! They will do as a substitute....but i reserve the right to have a "real" coffee from time to time as a treat!

The shop and scan stuff has arrived apparently, so I will have a good look at that when I finally get home tonight.....

Lightspeed - well I don't get many at all, but OH seems to get loads. Obviously there are not that many Male 40 somethings signing up to do surveys whereas there are loads of women trying to do them to supplement part time earnings or whatever. So anyway, he gets loads - still gets screened out of the majority but has still managed to get about £40 cashed in so far, and is also on his 4th Toluna HMV voucher as well, which is pretty good going considering he only started them a few months ago.

yorkielass - hope you had a good time in our part of the world.......I think the weather was ok that week! (unlike this week where i pity anyone on a broads cruiser for a holiday!).

Lunch was good - salmon...yum! Feeling stuffed now, and it will certainly see me through until I get the chance to eat later tonight.

Hope you are all having a good day!

Right, nicely ensconsed at my desk with Fake-occino all made even with chocolate sprinkles on the top.......still not as good as the real thing but is aiding the NSD campaign!

I am hoping the kids will get involved in shop and scan - it should be fairly easy as I am trying to only shop once a week and Mr T delivers to us so the kids have to help put stuff away anyway. This will just be another "layer" in the shopping process, and if it brings in a voucher or two, then all well and good!

What is this shop and scan? My God, my second post on here and it's on your thread again! I have three housemates living with me that could help me on that no end!

Been very interesting reading all your posts on this section of the diary. I shudder to think what you must've been like debt wise just a few years ago, or even a year ago! So muchos kudos to you about this!

My debt isn't quite as high but I'm on here as more of a... Lifestyle changing wannabe! :p That way I can start actually living well within my means and be able to afford East London properties!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!
