helloooooo to posters and lurkers alike!!!

OH got paid £35 for helping out at the hog roast, so I have kindly allowed him to keep the £5 and I have swiped £30 to pay off the HSBC.........:D

Then, playing with the snowball calculator - as you do on a Sunday afternoon - I realised that by paying the student money off the HSBC card instead of putting it in the bank towards skiing, reduces the DFD by a month........so, as we are still some way off the winter season (just, sort of) I have paid another £500 off the card, bringing that debt down to £962....:D

Remember to send some of those cakes my way, surfbabe :D

Yes, almost at this year's target.....it should be achieved later in the week. Once HSBC is cleared I will be paying money off my egg loan......it is a low interest rate, but it has the ability to overpay without hassle or penalty, and it is my biggest debt at £14,300 (down from £25,000) with a monthly payment of over £400, so to get rid of that will be a nice feeling. I think the aim would be to be rid of that one by Easter or there abouts.

Current DFD is now February 2010............:T
