Thanks guys - finally back after being a taxi service. DD has been babysitting, so is very happy to have topped her fab day off with a £20 note......perhaps I should charge her milage as her chauffeur - she can claim it against expenses on her tax return

And now, I am tired......so am off to bed. I just hope I can sleep! Trouble is, I am now SOOOO tired, I probably CAN'T sleep! Aaarrgghhh!!!

    Good Morning.

Daily clicks are done, and I have a couple of surveys sitting in my inbox that I will go through next. Other than that, not much to report so far, but then again I have only had one cup of coffee so it is still early.

I need to do some housework today - have had neither time nor energy to do any so far this week but if I don't do any today then I think social services and/or environmental health may be called in by the children/neighbours/etc :o

I also need to do a Tesco shop - but I am hoping to make a list of "essentials only" and get it from the local shop to avoid the temptation of buying more than we need.

So, best have a list for today:
    • wash and dry clothes for school and work
    • [strike]get OH shirts ironed and to his work before 3pm[/strike] Done
    • [strike]do clicks and surveys[/strike] Done
    • [STRIKE]buy essentials of groceries[/STRIKE] Done
    • blitz the kitchen
    • run the hoover round downstairs
    • [strike]go to lunch with Mum[/strike]Done
    • drink as much coffee as is necessary to get me through the day
    • [strike]check online banking[/strike] Done
hmmm......finance wise there is not too much happening on there - I need to do some quidco raiding I think as well, today.

Hope you are all having a good weekend x

Surfbabe, if you have any cake left over, you know where to send it ;):D:p

buzzbox, yes, exhausted, but getting there!!!

Yesterday I did the admin for karate in return for a free grading for DD, which saved me £22. Now of course I would have paid £22 for her to grade, so I have instead paid that money off the HSBC card this morning. So that balance now stands at a fraction under £1500.....

OH is working two jobs today - he has a shift for his normal second job, and has been asked to help out at a hog roast at lunchtime as well.......so earning money and free food - he will be happy with that!

    Hi hypno!

I'm having a bit of a housework morning... clients are back in the house tomorrow, and with all the building work and builders tramping in and out, everything is filthy. And I'm wiping up a bit of damp too.... okay, mould :o

It justifies my decision over the last few days to do some repointing - can't afford £100 a square yard, so I bought an angle grinder yesterday, mortar mix on Thursday, I'll be buying plasticiser today (and goggles if I can't find my old ones). The things we do... still, the house should smell clean and fresh with that dust and mould gone... heres hoping anyway :o It sounds terrible, I know - but thats what I get for being a bad, bad cleaning person :rotfl:

2 magazine subscriptions on quidco done, that will hopefully bring me in £10 or so of cashback - I have written the cancellation dates in my filofax so I shouldn't get caught out in "ongoing subscriptions" again! With the "magazine group" it seems you can do 2 subscriptions per month on quidco, so well worth looking at!!

KC, glad to see you being so proactive in the house stuff......I am still in my dressing gown.......telling myself that once OH goes to work in 20 mins I will get doing something. Although the reality is that I might have a cuppa first :o
