I remember when our three were all at senior school how expensive life was.
As they've left school there is a stopping of the constant draining away of funds. We've just been left with the debt ;) and occasional requests for funds. And it was all pretty sudden.

I think what I'm trying to say is that it gets better financially. :D
Especially if they hang around and pay rent :D

    site down Saturday! Bah!!

Moneywise...the last of the bills has been paid, and I was out on the budgets by £1.17.........I can live with that and will transfer money into that account from the overpayment account to bring it back to 0.00.

I have a client after work this evening so there should be a few pounds there to go in the pot.

    Other than that.......nothing to report.

    Have a good day!

In my new book (recommended by someone on here) The Millionaire Next Door, which at the moment is full of statistics it says:
    > 80% of millionaires received NO financial help from their parents to get through college.
I've been quotong that loud & long in the past few days.....:D

I just had to pop on to say a big THANK YOU for the parcel of clothes! My DS is delighted. Lots of the things are too big for him, so that's his wardrobe for the next two or three years sorted. Thank you so much!
