Hi
I recently upgraded my Natwest account to a student account after having recieved my unconditional offer for LLB Law.
I have my card, my cheque book and even the welcome pack. However, I have nothing that mentions the overdraft. How do I get the overdraft??? The overdraft is not there and nothing seems to be happening. Do I have to activate it somehow??
Many thanks
THe overdraft needs to be aplied for from 16th August 2008 or saturday which means it would take effect 19th August 2008.0 -

I'm studying a two-year FDA which is then "topped up" to a BA in the third year, am I not eligible for a student account?
I have already applied for my tuition and maintenance loans.
What is an FDA?0 -
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I went down today, to my local branch. The lady said I had to "APPLY" for it on the 16th... Does this mean there is a possibility I may not get it? I have no credit history.
Many thanks0 -
Grrrr
I just found out that they'll send cards etc to the branch AFTER I completed the application.
That's useless since the account will be open before I start my course and I specified the branch at my Uni as the branch I wanted the account to be at. (35 miles away and opens Mon-Fri 9am-3pm - I work 9-5)
There's not a Natwest any closer anyway - I figured this wouldnt be an issue. If I wait a few weeks to send back the stuff they send me, will they cancel my application or will it still go ahead?0 -

No, you can get one as long as you are in full time education. You will only get it for the length of your course though not 5 years (unless your course is that long).
http://www.16-25railcard.co.uk/what-is-a-16-25-railcard
Print that off and take it in with you it says:You're eligible if you're aged between 16-25, or over the age of 26 and in full-time education.0
