Don't know if it's already been mention, but Total Commander is free
No it isn't. It's a 30 day trial shareware program. After that you must pay for the program or uninstall it. Continuing to use it (even though they were nice enough not to put a timed lock down on it and made it "pesterware" instead) is still illegal and no different from software piracy. I hope your work is paying for licenses for it because they're also breaking the law if they aren't. There's a huge difference between genuinely free software and using software without paying for it."She is quite the oddball. Hi eveyone.
Im wondering if someone could give me some sound and helpful advice. This is the problem. Im finding that my computer at times is incredibly slow and sluggish. Also the main thing is that alot of the time when im in the middle of something the program becomes unresponsive and i have to start all over agin. this happens very regularly and i dont know what to do to prevent it. ive tried dregramenting my computer, disk clean ups ,ccleaner, Ad-adware, i also have an anti virus thing already set up, but nothing seems to be making any real difference! im at the end of my tether.
Also this never used to happen before but for the last number of months, whenevr i open a document in adobe or pdf i think it is, no.1 - it doesnt open, and whatever i do happen to have open at the time freezes, becomes unresponsive and closes down!!! ive tried uninstalling and re installing adobe - no difference!
please help some with something that really can work!!!

Sometimes it may be useful to encrypt files or folders. I have found CryptainerLE to be very good for this purpose and it also allows a version to be placed on a USB stick. The free version has a size limit but it is substantial enough for most general users. The set-up instructions are clear although may be a bit daunting for the new user.0

Truecrypt doesn't have a size limit, and being open source rather than commercial it definitely has no backdoors built in."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

:THi folks,
I have been using a FREE password management tool called Billeo Toolbar. It stores all of the passwords you can ever wish for, and unlike Robo-Form it costs you Nothing! You can even use it with FireFox 3 with no problems.

Martin mentioned Microsoft Equipt in his article, which is a subscription to MS Office and Live OneCare for one year. MS say they are discontinuing this after 30 April 2009, but you can still buy it and register it before then. To compensate MS are offering a pro-rata refund to subscribers and a free copy of MS Office Home & Student which will not run out after one year.
The good news is that MS Equipt is being discounted (I got mine for £43) but the refund is based on the full purchase price. So you could end up with MS Office and a profit to boot (pardon the computer pun).

Been trying to get "The Ultimate Steal" Microsoft package. It would seem I am eligible but as a secondary teacher I do not have a ".ac.uk" email, only a ".gov.uk" address. Have been trying to find a way of contacting Microsoft to get help. Any ideas out there please?

That's the page for the company that is administering it, maybe they'll be able to help you.0
