The Olympics Branded Debit Cards are being handed out with new Student Accounts...
Limited Edition Lloyds TSB 2012 Olympics branded debit card
We’re a proud sponsor of the London 2012 Games. Through this partnership we will be supporting and inspiring people on the journey to 2012 and beyond. Use your card almost anywhere in the world—at over 27 million outlets and 1 million ATMs, and to make payments over the phone and internet.
Giving them to all customers AFAIK - I have one on my Under 19's Account.

Ahh, well that put's a psin no tighns, maybe bad code on the chip then.It still worked, just not always with the chip and PIN. The PIN worked in Sainsbury's and Somerfield, but not in H&M, Morrisons or McDonald's and a few others.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

In my view, Lloyds would have very little to gain from having 2012 branded debit cards, not least because of the (unfairly, IMHO) negative reaction to the games, and the cost of producing new cards that will in all likelihood expire long before the 2012 games arrive.
I've just opened a new personal account last week and my 2012 card arrived on Saturday
As my new employer(!), they are making an almighty deal of being a major sponsor and are incredibly proud of it.
It's common sense that they will only issue the new cards to people who need them because they're new customers/expired/lost/stolen/broken cards!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Pictures anyone?.

I'm not posting mine because the logo is right over all the numbers etc.
I've got the Platinum account so my card is silver and the 2012 logo is an outline in black filling the majority of the card.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ok. If anyone would post a picture of theirs, however just remove the part with the card number. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it.

Even if you cover up the numbers, it will still give us an inclination as to what it looks like.
I don't like the horse on the current card, the eye seems to stare at you always, as if the bank is always watching you.0
