They've told me to fill out the voucher again. This time I'll be writing an accompanying letter and sending it recorded post. I suppose there is nothing else I can do.
Just to report that this worked - I got my £50 within a week.
I hope everyone else gets this sorted in the end - it's quite obvious they are seeing what they can get away with not paying, so persevere!0 -
We received our £50s this morning (after waiting 19 weeks) - should I send A&L a Christmas card do you think?0

I opened my account in August, and was credited the £25 on-line incentive within a few weeks. The recommend offer of £50 was a bit longer than the 8wks promised. I phoned A&A once to ask when I would see this credit, after I had waited 12wks...needless to say my enquiry was passed onto someone in the Customer Services department "who would contact me". Errrr...no, well sort of - after another 3 weeks of waiting, both myself and friend got a letter to say our "50p" (!) had been credited to our accounts. This was 3 weeks after we both saw it had actually gone in...and it was the £50.
Maybe it was a backlog - who knows, but either way it shouldn't be down to us to chase them. A simple email to all those effected would have been easy.
The only further problems I had were intially the transfer of all my DD's. Abbey "apparently" managed to delete half of them before sending them to A&A.
Still, made £75 for not real much effort...now just got to transfer to Lloyds TSB to make another £50. :xmassmile
Happy Christmas and New Year to you all! :xmassign:0 -
Would like to close this account shortly but concerned they may deduct the £50 from my closing balance making the whole effort a complete waste of time. Anyone done so yet?0

(No referral money here yet after more time than I can remember).
Since the 17th of August, Peter! You were the first person I referred and I've had loads of more recent payments through but nothing for you or another guy who opened his account at the same time. It does seem like making a call bucks them up a bit, but I guess that would have to be after Christmas now anyway.
All the best
