47 seat aircraft - help

I have just found out the aircraft we are flying with to Corsica is only a 47 seat plane! Its a Flybe aircraft. I am a bit nervous about flying but am not too bad on big planes. Has anyone been on such a small aircraft and if so what is it like>>>>

I've flown with SwissAir on a small plane; I couldn't say how many seats exactly, but each row had only 3 seats - 1 on one side of the aisle, 2 on the other. They were all leather seats (very comfy) and service is very fast as there are less passengers to look after!

I enjoyed it, hope yours is as nice x
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

We use a 8 seater islander to go to the shops , dentist, hospital, kids school trips etc very lucky because of subsidized fare (£12 return) and it lands in a field .

I would be more worried about meeting The Godfather where your going ;)

You will be fine, hope you have a super holiday

i am afraid you may well feel more bumps, but i concur with other posters that you will get a much more personal journey.

You can if you are sitting on someones lap...;)

Seriously, don't worry about it, you are far safer in an aircraft than you are in your own home.

No, well the thing is whilst a small planes gets thrown about a bit more, you are not guaranteed to even have any turbulence, so in effect you're worrying about something that might not even happen.
Its a bit like gearing yourself up in case you win the lottery this week.

Thanks everyone for all your help. As I said I`m OK on the larger aircraft, my only concern was that smaller aircraft may be very bumpy and thats all I am nervous about.
