I am declaring myself successful in my quest for 8 NSDs in August :j

Last month I managed a lowly 6 in the whole month - and this month I have done 8 out of 12 days!!!

Obviously I will be continuing to see how many I can get for the rest of the month!

Thanks guys for the inspiration - knowing that I have the chance to cheer for a no spender on here keeps me away from the chocolate!!

I achieved my 4th NSD despite severe temptation! Here's hoping achieve the rest of my 8 by month end.... It is soooooooo difficult. I like this challenge though as one of the other posters said... once you start spending it can be hard to stop.

Almost had a NSD today but I have suffered a back strain and in desperation to ease it off I had to buy some heat rub for £1.24.

I think that if something is truly for medicinal purposes then it should be allowed.

You can't risk being in pain for the sake of a NSD.

So, if I were you, I would ignore that £1.24.

Hope you soon feel better x

I'm still stuck on 3 so far - would've been no.4 today but I managed to fall off the pavement :o and skinned my knee, ripping my trousers in the process . Decided it was worth buying a large plaster on the way into work - so by hypno's rule I would've been fine - but spoilt it by buying a can of coke to cheer myself up. Hoping to hit no.4 tomorrow instead...

Alas I spent 94p in the shop on the way to work, the heat was getting to me so bought a bottle of water and I was hungry so bought a pack of rolos

When I was looking in the chiller though I did think of the challenge and put back the sandwich and left a magazine I was tempted by on the shelf, so though not a NSD a few quid less than normal thanks to this challenge :D
