I've been getting a bit twitchy about this too, especially on my TalkTalk tracking page they say there's a hitch and could I phone them on 0870... (yeah right, why don't YOU contact ME?), but my £100 has just this morning tracked on Quidco - 5 days after signing up. Just hang on in there...0

I am sorry to hear that some of you don't have LLU in your area unfortunately in order for us to provide the free broadband package we need to have our equipment in your local BT exchange this is known as LLU.

From bitter experience this could just be the start of some lengthy problems.
Totally agree - I cancelled my TalkTalk in June and "mysteriously" my last months calls charges were over 700% higher than my usual bills - full of phones numbers I don't/haven't called.0 -

i eventually decided to go for the talk talk package after reading all the horror stories with tiscali
i have also received no confirmation of tracking for talk talk and im getting a bit worried. im a first time user of quidco. could any1 confirm whether they have successfully managed to track the transaction pls
i also cant raise a query for 14 days!!!
What horror stories?? We've had perfectly good service from Tiscali for 18 months now and live out in the stix with an old Xchange that is waiting to be unbundled so I can get it all for £14.99 per month, but Tiscali have been wonderful to us.0 -

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Tiscali have no plans at present to unbundle anymore exchanges.
