Ta. Toucan have warned us that TT have a reputation of not cancelling properly so Toucan are putting a cancellation notice through, as have we, and they've told us to get TT to double confirm everything! I at least feel assured that as I've cancelled within a couple of days we fall under the UK's Distance Selling Act regulation which entitles us to 7 days cooling off. Fingers crossed!!0

I'm ineligible too. Less than 40 miles from Marble Arch and I still can't get their free broadband.. How close do you have to get?? Oh well, maybe some other supplier will do it for me... Hmph!0

I'm glad to hear that TalkTalk's service has improved but I wouldn't touch them again with a bargepole after a whole year without the Broadband I had signed up for and hundreds of hours wasted on the 'phone to overseas call centres. ALSO, I lost my telephone number of 29 years when switching from them to a new provider.:mad:0

I have signed with talktalk through quidco, I requested my mac no. from tiscali before hand but it was not needed. Today I have a letter from tiscali confirming my mac code and they say they will cancel my account when it is used, as its not needed will I have to tell them and BT or will talktalk do it on behalf? bri0

iv jus found a really gud deal with tiscali that can rival this deal.
u can get a bundle with broadband and line rental with a wireless router for 12 months at 9.99 for 3 mnths and then 14.99 thereafter. also get £30 quidco - covers connection fee. it does work out a little more expensive, however u get a wireless router which u dnt with talk talk.
the bundle that really caught my eye was with the same as above but with a tv package. Now this deal includes sky one! cant get sky one on cable no more! it costs £14.99 for 3 months then £19.99 thereafter. also £40 quidco.
i mite go for this as i dnt really wanna commit myself for 18 months. also really like the tv package. the closest match with sky will nowhere near beat this deal.

I got the 19.99 tiscali line rental/ broadband deal nearly year ago,I wish I never took the phone line with them as i have been now without telephone line since 10th july,cant receive or make calls and tiscali helpline is in India and calling them on mobile 0871 number has cost a small fortune!! It has got me nowhere ! I have written to the customer services and emailed them , they do not care and worst of all migrating elsewhere is difficult without going back to Bt which I dont want to do ,apparently the Mac code will not work as tiscali have got Tag on the phone line.
With BT I would have to do a years contract just for the phone line which I dont wish to do.
I had perfectly good broadband from tiscali until they took the phone line! tiscali helpline lady told me there are hundreds of people with same problem!!the caller display has not worked 100% since last year..0 -
Hi. Does anyone know how long it takes for this £100 cashback offer to show as tracking in your Quidco account?
I completed the application process fully online on 31st July after passing through the Quidco link. Didn't need MAC but TT confirmed that they didn't need it - maybe because my bband contract with Orange expired some time ago. I took all the usual precautions of deleting cookies before starting and not leaving the webpage before finishing the application. One strange thing I did notice is that I had been logged out of my Quidco account after I completed the application I definitely did not do this and this has happened to me before. But I could see that I had definitely gone through Quidco on the Earnings Queries page. I recieved my application confirmation email very soon after and an email/billing and service confirmation email the next day from TalkTalk.
However, the cashback tracking is not showing in my Quidco account although Quidco seems to indicate that the tracking confirmation to TT is verk quick. If I try to query it, the website tells me that I must allow 14 days which conveniently is also the cooling off period under the distance selling rules.
I have jumped through all the hoops in order and selected all the right package options as suggested by MSE Martin. I am also an experienced Quidco user. Can anyone offer any insight?

I joined talktalk on 31st through quidco, the first time I have used this as I joined quidco just to do this. I have checked on quidco and there are no transactions. what can I do to get my £100, or should I cancel? regards...bri0

I'm going to give Quidco until Friday this week (8th Aug) to track otherwise I will cancel the TT contract under the distance selling rules and resign with Orange. I am currently out of contract but have their free bband service through my mobile contract with them
I'll take their Home Max package for £17 per month which includes line rental as I am an existing mobile customer and about to renew my contract for 18 months (they don't offer any discounts on the bband package but you can get £40 cashback through Quidco). This brings the average cost to £14.78 per month as they are waiving their connection fee until the end of August. I just need to check with them regards the 'hire' of the livebox they give you. You pay £2.08 per month for this (in the small print)
I have had no problems with Orange except for the occassional temporary loss of service during peak usage hours.0 -

i eventually decided to go for the talk talk package after reading all the horror stories with tiscali
i have also received no confirmation of tracking for talk talk and im getting a bit worried. im a first time user of quidco. could any1 confirm whether they have successfully managed to track the transaction pls
i also cant raise a query for 14 days!!!0
