Hey ladies this thread was almost off the page we must be all out busy and partying!!!
I'm sorry to hear that some of you have missed out on success start for these reasons it's such a shame, you would think your managers would want you to achieve it asap because then you would be qualified quickly for them.
Had my first trainig session lastnight and got to have a look at the natures minerals make-up which I am still not sure about, I had a complaint about it from my first party, they lady said she would have sent it back if it wasn't my party!!! Anyone else had anything similar. Think I am going to have to buy some to try it out for myself.

Mine did the same...she said I couldn't have it until all my bookings were confirmed and I had booked training. She held onto for a week as I had only booked 5 of my 6 parties (I wasn't allowed to do a home one). I missed out on success start partly because I couldn't get 6 in on time. Its frustrating!!
i think thats awful!! i had my 6 booked in (and i kind of think thats fair enough you have to have 6 booked in - but i got the 6 booked in before i signed up) but one of them was a home one, (so if you'd been allowed a home one then that would have been your 6?!) which i think is a great idea, because if you have lots of different groups of friends (like i do) then you can do it more as a booking bids party, and really sell the benefits. and potentially, you might get a booking to be held within your success start from one of your frist parties. and i've had a party cancel because her fathers just died - thats not something you can plan for!!! whos region are you in? i would speak to your regional manager because your area manager is supposed to be supporting you, not making you miss out on incentives!!!
and my kit got sent straight to me, so i could get started asap!!! x x0 -

Hi Everyone, I am having difficulty getting more parties, is it quite normal to struggle until you have a couple of parties? I have a number of people who want to buy stuff but not many who want a party and i have tried to talk to them all about the benefits of parties.
I am not too worried if they all spend loads on orders, but i would love more parties in the next couple of months.Leopardlady

The easiest way to get parties is from parties to be honest. The other good way is to attend local shopping/pamper evenings and promote yourself there. You have people that want to place orders but don't want to party so have you tried a party in a bag. They could get you orders from their friends and family and if they hit £130 can get the commission towards their shopping. Someone earlier on the tread and done it for the same reasons as you. When you get the orders through you could then call the customers and ask them to party (if your comfortable doing so).
Hope this makes sense!0 -
Work based party today and have around the £190 in orders. Another party at 7.30 tonight this time at the neighbours. Sounds like not many coming but hope my new improved selling skills get reasonable individual sales, It all adds up.
One question when doing the success start do your sales also count towards the monthly targets?
Thanks:j0 -
Ive just signed up and im just having a look on the website, on the ordering under incentive i have a few products but none of them have a price, is there a reason for this? xx
sorry for being dumb x0 -
KP- yes all counts towards your monthly figures.
Moon- the incentives is for the guests, it's to say thanks. It dopesn't cost them anything but costs you. I always order the stuff and get it delivered to me and take it out of their bags lol0 -
O ok cool thanks CP x0

I have just had the bizarrest party & only ended up with £37.50 sales from guests!!
I have to say I had to try really hard not too laugh as it was just bizarre from start to finish... why would you turn up to a foot party with thick winter tights on & trousers!! Out of 9 guests only 4 could do their feet!!
This is gonna go down as a 'story teller' I reckon! At least I could see the funny side of things... would've been nice to have made more than the postage & petrol costs tho!0
