Tiggy do you have your kit yet? dont worry about the party it will be fine just remember no one knows what the party should be like so if you miss something out then they wont know :-) If you look on the be inspired website (you will need you consultant id number etc) you will find loads of info and a section which takes you through what to do for a party.
Good luck and let us know how you go x0 -

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Thanks trishandbubs, no I haven't got my kit yet, it should arrive tomorrow. I borrowed some cats and flyers from the lady who recruited me, so I could give my party lady her bits and bobs to get pre-party orders in. I am just winging it at the mo! I have had a look at the website so I think I will be able to muddle through0

As you are right at the end of the summer catalogue make sure you know what is out of stock. To make up for the OOS items there are quite a few things they could order from the Xmas Catalogue before it comes out on the 1st if you have one to show them?
Push the promotions - free body butter with a £30+ spend - and I believe it's 30% off everything that is left in stock in the catalogue.
Body butters all half price until October...
And try to get a party booked for next month to get the ball rolling...
Good luck! let me know if I can help with anything!0 -
Hi, I just love this forum the hints and tips have been great, although it has taken a long time to read all the pages lol. I joined TBSAH in August, I do wish I had waiting to be able to get the Christmas kit too. It is proving hard than I thought to generate interest in the parties, I am hoping that the run up to Christmas is better. I have a stall booked in December at the local school, and 2 more parties booked so far.
I have ordered some business cards on Vistaprint and then I plan to go out and try to generate some sales. I just wondered if there were any good places to advertise other than the usual school, facebook etc.
Thanks

Hi sam
Have you thought about contacting local business' to see if you can leave catalogues with them, or larger business' seeing if you can have a stall during the lunch period, you could do it as a fundraiser to either raise funds for a local charity, COTE or towards their christmas night out (i am doing this with a local hospital and they are getting 20% of anything i sell towards a christmas night out for all the staff).
Look at netmums.co.uk and stallfinder.co.uk to see if anywhere close by are having stalls etc

I know this might sound daft, but how do you run a stall if you haven't got a lot of product? Do people trust you to take orders? Also debating on how I am going to do the xmas fair at the local school, they want me to do it, but I only have my pamper kit...I could offer hand massages for £x and donate half to the school? Any other ideas? Has anyone found advertising in shop windows any good? i just want to get the word out and grow my business. Having a bit of a nightmare, because I have just moved to the area and don't know many people. Mum said she would have a party for me, but has just come out of hospital, so needs a few weeks to recover. Love this thread!!!!0

I have an advert in the local P.O. @ 10p per week (next to the avon lady!).
As for stock for a stall, I have had a couple of parties where I get the £25 of free products since I am host - and I have bought about 20 buy one get one free body butters and a load of half price hemp hand creams. They last 3 years so I figure I will be able to sell them!
Also planning to put in a £230 order of xmas stuff at the beginning of October and get the 70% off extra products - all this for the xmas stall at the local school... also look into doing a tombola at your stall.0 -
I've got a quick question. I'm going to a body shop party tonight. Can you pay by Visa or do you have to pay by cash. Just wondering so as I know if I need to bring money with me.0
