Hiya
I ordered my Christmas catalogues Monday and they all arrived this morning- Very excited!!
Ragz a party in a bag is where you put a few samples in a bag and give to your host to try- she is turn then does your job for you, and in a week or so you collect your bits from her and (hopefully) lots of orders! Its perfect for people that use the excuse of not having enough time to hold a party lol!
I'm doing my first creative stint outside Bodyshop in my town on Saturday- really looking forward to it- Hopefully I'll get some parties and some new recruits!
If anyone is thinking of joining or is already a consultant in the Essex/Herts/Cambridgeshire region please get in touch! xxx0 -
Another Question from Ragz, surprise surprise!

Hi ragz
I haven't got a clue what crackerjacking is, what context did you see it in?
For a party in a bag my manager reccomends at this time of year that you give your host 10 catalogues and half a pad of order forms with a few samples and you call her every few days to keep in touch / remind her that she's supposed to be doing it. Then if she gets £130 or more in orders the host rewards are hers. I tend to let anyone who is doing this have 10% off all orders as effectively I don't have to do anything, just collect the forms and enter them online.0 -
Cath and Kim,
Body Shop being the environmentally concious people that they are have stopped issuing the big file of paperwork and instead made all the information it contained available on the consultant website. I'd be very surprised if they stopped issuing the DVD and prompt cards though so it sounds like whoever packed your kit got it wrong. good luck sorting it out and let us know how you get on.0 -
Morning all, found out Crackerjacking is where you pile up the hosts possible rewards in her hands/lap in front of the guests. Kind of.
Sounds like a lot of stuff need printing, I don't have a printer, should I get one??June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

The manual dosen't need printing. You don't need a paper copy if you can see the info online, that's why they are stopping handing out the manuals with the kit.
I've used my printer a lot to print off games that I've been given and also to print out info about host rewards. I do a game where the host can earn points for getting lots of guests, lots of pre-orders and lots of orders. With her points she can 'buy' from me incentives that I get off supply. Each one of those is 2 sides (1 of how to earn the points and 1 of what she can buy with them). I think that's the main thing I've printed though every 3 months you will need to print off the full assoortment and it is reccomended that you print the stock update (list of what is out of stock) before each party but I've not done that yet.
In answer to if you should get a printer I would probably say yes. Don't spend a fortune, look at the price of new cartridges (the cheapest printers will usually have expensive cartridges, they trick you into buying the printer then you can't help but buy their cartridges!) You could get buy without a printer if you have access to a friend who has one or a local print shop who will print you a full assortment off memory stick every few months but it will help you.0 -
Hiya! I have a printer its an epson and the cartridges are separate so you only replace the ones you need to rather than a full colour one just because youve run out of blue (if you know what i mean!).
Well, today is my fundraiser, my packs are ready, ive spent this morning sorting out my kit, doing my 4 week booking sheets for oct/nov and cutting out free prize draw slips!! Im going to take some sample pots with me and take a couple of raffle prizes (just a shower gel and bath lily i think). im really looking forward to it but havent done a fundraiser before so im quite nervous too! silly me lol. My AM did say that she tends not to do them because she doesnt make much from them, but i thought i would have a try and if i didnt sell much, id use it to get parties booked.
Hope you all have a fab day today, i'll pop on later and let you know how it goes, wish me luck!

Heeheehee
My Avon Lady came round this morning, got chatting and she said she's gonna quit as she's not making much money, so I told her a bit about TBSAH and sent her away with a recruitment DVD and my phone number!
Now when I have my interview (in an hour) I can tell my manager I may have a recruit for her!

Hi everyone,
Back from my meeting last night and raring to go with recruits - so if anyone in Cornwall is interested then PM me! We are very sparse on Consultants down here, some large towns have nobody covering them at all so there are lots of opportunities.
Good luck to all those newbies on here, you are joining at the best time of year!
