  • well the fundraiser last night was ...... interesting!? haha

I learnt a few things to amend in time for my next one - problem was last night people were coming for the cause and not for the body shop so people spent loads of money on the tombola desperate to win a prize and by the time they paid out for that, plus the therapists i had there - there was no money left to place orders! :-( I also didn't get any parties booked because the ladies weren't really into the body shop and htey just wanted a jolly night out ... I tried all powers of persuasion but they just weren';t the right crowd! HOWEVER, saying that everyone had loads and loads of fun - feedback was excellent, I did get about £100 of orders AND we raised £80 seperately for Breast Cancer Awareness so all was not lost! It was a fun night and Im pleased I did it but for business purposes....I will think carefully about how to improve the next one....which is on Monday!

ha i remembered now! do any of you offer a gift for people who book a party at a party on a specific date? ie. a 'star' date (i put little star stickers next to 4 different dates on my booking sheet and offer a prize for anyone that books on one of them)

if you do, what prize do u offer? xxx

  • absolutely yes to the first one.. have not done the star thing but will certainly give it a go....

I use the sale stuff and freebies to incentivise my catalogue sellers... i am getting a team of them together locally to collect orders...

at the meeting yesterday Jan gave us a rundown of how she ran a team of 24 catalogue sellers..
  • Im confused at where the money is for us in the catalogue selling....Wish I could have come to the meeting!!!

Well, I have got the ball rolling on my way to becoming a consultant. Due to a holiday I can't get on to the training until 11th July, although my AM is sending off my paperwork on the 30th June so I get the bronzer in with my kit. Have 5 of my 6 parties pretty much sorted, now just need to see how many friends I can rope into having a party! I'm feeling quite nervous but I'm going out with my AM to observe one of her parties so hopefully I'll feel a bit more confident after that and the training. How exciting!
