The Body Shop At Home (Hints and tips)

Hi Leo, Thanks for the reply. I will seek some legal help if they dont give me a proper reply.
I sent them many emails last week but they didn't even reply!
I complained to the other department of the company and they replied immediately:
"
Thank you for email but I am sorry to hear that you have been unable to get through. When you refer to Customer Service I presume you mean getting through to the NYR Home Coordinator who is incredibly busy but will deal with your enquiry as soon as she is able. I'm also sorry to hear that you've had problems with the general service but as you're aware this is a new venture and inevitably there will be teething problems so I urge for your patience and understanding. NYR At Home is a separate company to ourselves so am unable to be of any more assistance I'm afraid."
I would say, being busy is not the excuse not to reply or solve problems for consultants. Why don't they employ more people? They should know their limitations before encouraging us to recruit more people and hold more parties!!!
and now we end up with not even a place to complain!!!0 -
I would have to agree, that email is a terrible response!!
Its almost as if you're being reprimanded! i'd be fuming!
hope you get it sorted.
If you were to join TBSaH at least you'd have the experience of 15yrs of experience too.
I would also suggest that suppling the product in old packaging close to sbd would be misrepresentation!
where else are you supposed to get your support??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
After reading so many posts, I think I may join TBS if I can sort things out at NYR. It's really exhausting as well.
Just now I called the NYR headquarter, they said there was only one telephone number for the NYR Home office. I have been calling that number since 9 this morning. Starting to feel helpless now...0 -
oh no
*hugs* hope it all works out ok

I'm really tempted to apply for TBSAH... I'm worried whether my age would go against me as I'm quite young? I'm very outgoing though, and used to presenting and leading workshops and things so I'm sure I could cope with a party!
The 6 parties in 3 weeks is also a bit daunting for me... Not sure I know enough people to pull that off!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

hi Karamel Rose,
if you are 18 or over you can work for the body shop at home
beyond that your age shouldnt be a problem. The first 6 parties in 3 weeks aren't that scary really. and it depends who your manager is as to how you work that , my team have between 4 - 5 weeks to get their 6 parties, but 2 a week is the best to aim for anyway .

I'm coming up to 21 so a bit beyond the 18yr old limit!
I'm definitley considering it - might talk to the other half a bit more first before I take the plunge! I start Uni in October though, will that be a problem? I'm going to keep my car, and can always do parties on the weekend or even around the Uni during the week. Might be a good source of monies!
I'm already registered as self-employed as I've just started Mystery Shopping so that side is sorted too. Currently working in an Accountancy office so hopefully that'll put me in good stead when I fill in my tax return!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

Hi KaremelRose, i think you sound like just the right kind of person for tbsah. Where abouts in the country are you and are you going far to uni? the parties can be worked around almost anything as you only book parties when you want. Good luck and i hope you join us soonLeopardlady

I live in the Midlands, in Redditch to be more specific and I'm going to Warwick Uni (which isn't actually in Warwick crazily enough, more like Coventry!), so I'm staying close to home.
My boyfriend works near the Uni so he's going to pick me up on Friday nights and drop me back Monday mornings and I'm keeping my car at his house as the cost of keeping a car on campus is ENORMOUS.
Just wondered if you thought they'd be much scope to host parties at Uni? Would Uni students not be willing to spend money or would it be a good girlie night in and perhaps they may treat themselves to an item or two? Hmmm...
If anyone has a team in my area - let me know and I'd be happy to join.TWBM 2010 Wishlist:
