haha no idea what my secret is to be honest, iv just had really good parties which people have enjoyed and wanted one of their own. I had 4 parties last week which was hard going and thats how I made over £1000 sales in just 5 days !

I play quite a few games at my parties and just make it really fun and enjoyable and make people laugh with the games which is always a good sign. My aim is just to make sure everyone has a good girly fun night in and although I sell the products, I try not to just stand there and be a typical sales person - I incorporate personal experiences and get people to talk about their experiences of certain products - and throw in a few facts now and again which make people go oooooooh i never knew that! haha

iv got 13 parties booked from parties and im fully booked for the whole of july and having to book people into august! Thanks for all your support on this site, it's helped me tons and I always tell people to have a look on ehre if they are ever skepical about joining because reading this thread helped me decide i wanted to do body shop!

PS does anyone know if there will be a conference this year - I read all about the one last year and would love to go to one!

Hi Keza, thanks for the reply. I can see that you are enjoying party at THE BODY SHOP. I think i made the wrong decisionn to join NYR.

Do you happen to know whether its legal to sell old version and new version of same products at the same time? Unfortunately I received old version of one products from NYR which is gonna expire within 4months as well! They use new version's photo on their website and catalogue which is really misleading! My customers are very unhappy about this!

Hiya, ive never heard of NYR? who are they? what do they sell?

that does sound really misleading, dont think id be happy if i received something different from that pictured in the catalogue. where abouts are u? body shop is fantastic! really rewarding and enjoyable! xxx

Me again haha! does anyone have stickers advertising TBSaH on their cars and are they effective for getting bookings/interest?

i c a car the other day with pink ann summers writing on it with the phone number and consultants name.

or them car door magnets from vistaprint? r they effective? xxxx

Iv got a sticker on my car with the logo and my phone number on - not had any calls from it as yet so can't comment on how effective it would be? I got mine for free through Vistaprint!

The customer services with BSAH are lovely and very helpful, they are knowledgable and efficient.

I would say if you are selling something that is no longer in the catalogue and will expire soon you could only sell it at a discount and explain the expiry before selling.

Keza, I haven't done the car thing, but think it could work, if you got one from vista you should be able to get it free then try it and see how it goes.
