And thank you for the advice it is extremely valuable. I've phoned all the friends I have. Facebook was kind of a last minute desperate attempt to get some bookings.

Hi everyone !.I am from the U.K.I am on Jobseekers allowance, which is a benefits sytem that you are on in the U.K when you are unemployed, and i am hoping to work for The body shop at home for more than 16 hours a week,as that is how much i would have to work to be able to sign off Jobseekers.I really want to get off benefits now and do a job i would enjoy !.The only thing i'm worried about though if i sign off is that i might not make enough money from The body shop at home to live on.I know it depends on how many parties i would have booked, and how much i earn.Do you have any tips on how i could make this my job ?.

I have enquired about this job,i still need to get some parties booked though and get my kit.I let my friends of Facebook know about it and i am going to post on other websites about it,and put posters up in shops,e.t.c.

I'd like to start next week,if possible,at the earliest.I can't wait as it sounds like so much fun !

I noticed above that a poster put you send your kit back and get refunded if it doesnt work out. That isn't what i got told.I got told by the person whose team i joined that you keep the kit and products, and a refund wasn't mentioned, and that you just stop taking bookings if it isnt working out.

ha well last night was a DISASTER! i went all the way from my house to the hostess (bout 20 miles!) for her then to tell me when i pulled up outside that no one out of the 10 confirmed that morning were coming :(

wat a waste of petrol and time. i barely managed to get £20 order from her. she has re booked with me so fingers crossed for that one, and she also wants to become a rep so fingers crossed for that too.

people like that do make me slightly mad thou! :( xxx

    Hi beth,

under normal circumstances - you do keep your kit and once you've been using it you dont get a refund. however the lady i was speaking to hadnt received her kit or got her parties booked - totally different situation

for your situation i would reccomend starting off with TBSaH at less than 16 hours - which would mean telling the benefits people how much you earnt in a week and then they have a ceiling i think you're alowed to earn your first £20 before any stoppages then they stop you £ for £ what you have earnt , however your housing benefit and council tax benefit etc are still in place at that point then if you make a success of it you can sign off

    good luck
    xx

    Hello Ladies,

Two more friends of mine have currently penciled in dates! So now I have 5 parties booked (I is mine). They've only penciled them in as they aren't sure if their friends can make the date so they are asking before getting back to me.

I have my training tomorrow so I'm quite excited. I just need to get someone else to commit to a date!

Does anyone know how quick the kit usually arrives? I have a friend who is interested but its quite early on next week and I haven't confirmed anything with her because I'm not sure if my kit would have arrived in time!

    Thanks

    Gemma
