    Hi Keza,

I actually got my husband to do me some leaflets today! I've been moaning at him for a week about getting it done! lol. I hoped to get talking to some mum's at my daughters nursery today but there was no one about today as I was late so hopefully tomorrow some might be around to get the attention of.

  • I'v already paid my £95 for my kit, what happens if I don't have the 6 parties booked by the end of the 6 weeks? Do I not get my kit and lose the £95??

That is the same with me! I can't sign up until I've got 6 parties booked! x

On another note I got really excited last night when one of my friends agreed to have one. She was really excited but I realised as we were talking that it wasn't going to happen. She thought it would be okay to have just her and a friend and said her house was too small after 15 mins of me explaining the details. I was kind of annoyed with her as I told her that she needed a small group of people, she then went on to say that she didn't think her friends were 'the body shop' type people! I kind of got annoyed with her for wasting my time if she knew that know one would go!

I have another two who are interested and I'm waiting for them to get back to me with dates. Considering I contacted 20 people personally and then tried my luck with 60 of my friends on facebook I feel quite downhearted already and have lost my buzz from last night when my friend above called me back to arrange the date only to then make me realise that she was wasting my time. I'm hopeful that one of the others might confirm dates by Friday and I'm calling back my other friends tonight and tomorrow.

If someone offered me a free bottle of wine and a chance to try something new I'd jump at the chance! My friends are usually so supportive and up for anything maybe the credit crunch is having some kind of effect!

    Hi Gemma,
I hope this helps hun - instead of waiting for your friends to get back to you, ring them and excitedly tell them that an offer has just come up that for any ladies that book and hold a party before the end of May they will receive an extra £10 to spend for free,(party sales over £180) that's on top of the £25 and also on top of the 70% discount of their own orders up to £100!! They could receive lovely products worth £135 for just £30! Ask them 'wouldn't that be handy for Father's day, birthdays and starting xmas shopping as well as some fabulous treats for themselves :D' Tell them that you are phoning them because you don't want them to miss out because you only have a couple of dates left! (You can always put dates in your diary written in red on the dates that you don't actually want to work - red is dead :D)
    Good luck hunny ;)

    Hiya girls!

im doing ok at the moment. i have 10 parties booked in and i have done 5. im asking literally everyone i know. its hard coming out of ur comfort zones (and believe me i have severe comfort zones!) but once u get a booking it really motivates u. make sure u mention the party is free! let them know even if they dont have to make sales to hold a party but to look at is as a girls night in. then wen ur at the party, people buy buy buy! coz the products really almost sell themselves.

I struggled to get my first 6 and one of them cancelled on me but now i have done them and have 10 more!

Heres some of the ideas i use that u can too once u get ur parties!

-highlight the 5th line down on the order forms, let people know they can have 10% off the product they put on that line (obv they need to fill the 4 above it!)

-make up pretty hostess packs to give to the people who book a party at parties. have a couple of incentives in there and some samples.

    - offer a pamper pack of incentives (cotton pads, bath lily, samples and an incentive) for when someone spends over £30 or £35. let them know they can take that with them on the night for free!

-i offer a bottle of wine or box of chocs for the hostess having the party.

    - load up the hostess with £125 of products to show the guest this is what they can get for having a FREE party.

Good luck! keep us updated with how u get on wont u. def give the 'but its free' line a go! let them know anything else is a bonus!

    Hi all,

let me try and shed some light on some of your issues ladies

right - tina, firstly your manager hasnt technically done things in the order she should have. However hun , its not the end of the world - IF you do fail to book your parties ( and i hope that with help you wont) then your kit will go back and you will be refunded - whos region are you in ??

next - gemma and tina - meant in the nicest way possible - i think that the reason you havent yet booked lies in the wording you're using, please dont get offended or defensive on this , its very difficult to know how to get your yes's if no one's told you.

Ok - here's the thing - your friends that are telling you "things are tight" and "their friends cant afford it" or "wouldn't be interested" - who are they to decide things on behalf of their friends?? so when you get an objection like that - overcome it with - you'd be surprised - after all people are still taking showers aren't they ?? why not just invite everyone around i'll give them a free gift - just for turning up and then we can let them make those choices themselves

take on board what Jenny said too - now we have even more reason to get people booked in an extra £10 of free product

everyone thats already given you a not really kind of answer - go back to them and tell them that without their help to get you started you're not going to be able to do this and you really want to, so regardless of when they hold the party some people may not be able to make it but you have ways of helping with that too so which date is best for them 22nd or 29th may ?

and anyone that you havent yet asked - try something like
how would you like a free facial and some free products, well im just starting my new venture with tbsah and thats exactly what you get for helping me , i'm really excited about it as just for getting your friends round for an evening our hosts are pampered and rewarded
firstly theres a facial or makeover for free, secondly - you get £25 products free and then you get a massive 70% off your other shopping too , how good is that? i'm free on the 23rd or 28th which is best for you?

And finally - dont text, dont email , dont facebook (except as a last resort) you HAVE to phone - dont ask me why ut it doesnt work otherwise!

if you'd like to pm me your email addresses i'd be happy to send you over my 120 booking tips doc over

hope you find all that of some use

    xx
